Giuntoli:"In times like these, we must all stick together. We are very disappointed with our last two below-par performances in a season full of ups and downs. However, we are confident that we can overcome this together, even with Thiago Motta and has our full backing."
Giuntoli:"The project started a while ago by rejuvenating the squad and lowering salaries. Our main goal remains qualifying for the Champions League, which is easily within our reach."

In case y’all thought it can’t get any worse we just been handed another blow by Giuntoli who reconfirmed Motta and talked as if everything is fine outside of this 0:4 and 3:0 respectively, which means they either too broke to fire him or might really have no plan B in place, no other explanation.

It is very clear the problem is in his tactics and how he sets his team up to play. It’s all so very predictable. He’s got to be the worst manager we’ve ever had. He’s basically someone that has played football manager for 5 years and been put onto the Juve bench for real

chiellini understands the juventus environment. so do pinsoglio and storari

sorry buddy, i'm not convinced that del piero has any leadership qualities. giving him any role now is the equivalent of the pirlo experiment
i agree, this club needs someone with connections and influence. platini has both. del piero has no pull or connections with anyone. even at juve he isn't influentional with the owners.

talk about lowered standards, right?

i get that this squad isn't good enough for scudetto but we should be comfortably on the podium and avoid humiliating losses left and right. after the psv, empoli, atalanta and fiorentina results no juve coach should be able to continue
And he talks about overreacting lmao. Like this was just some freak accident today.

Pirlo was manager though, Del Piero would be vice-president, assuming Agnelli returns when his ban is over. Can’t really compare that. Zanetti as far as I know didn’t had any relevant experience and he’s been sitting there aswel

Seeing this team full of strangers, many people just want to see someone with who they can identity. Del Piero as spokesperson would be a great decision

Giuntoli needs to pack his bags and drag Motta out with him. A director who still believes in a clueless, useless coach like Motta clearly doesn’t know a thing about football. What else do you expect when you put together De Laurentis’ former sidekick and an Interista? If there’s even a bit of identity left in this club, Elkann needs to step in tonight, fire Motta himself, and send a clear message to Giuntoli: this is Juventus and you can’t get knocked out by Empoli and PSV, get embarrassed by Atalanta and Fiorentina, and just walk away like nothing happened.

When we got relegated to Serie B and came back, we had more identity than we do now. We even sacked Ferrara after just half a season and a Champions League elimination against Bayern because at Juve, losing and getting knocked out is never just "part of the game." But now? Everything’s become normal in this circus Giuntoli has created.

any executive role to del piero = guaranteed failure
any non-executive role to del piero = useless, pointless

it is a disorganized club. we don't need a talisman, we need leadership. president, ceo, coach, at least 2-3 key figures in the locker. which one is del piero? in my book, he's neither of them.

He was captain for the majority of his time here, in some of our most successful teams with some big characters of course he has leadership qualities. The Del Piero you see in the media is different from the one behind closed doors.

Chiellini, Pinsoglio and Storari aren't on the board, we need a leader at the top.

Chiellini is helpful to have around. But it looks from the outside that the people with power are Toli, Scanovino, Ferrero. We need someone on that board with football knowledge, leadership and it would be helpful to have knowledge of a successful Juventus environment.

He can't realistically last much longer, you don't stick with a coach on this sort of run at Juventus. Are we going to risk finishing in 7th or whatever so we can maybe be good next season, by some miracle? Would be absurd.
It seems we will be risking it, yes.

Damn it fucking sucks to be back in that 2009-2011 era of Juventus again. Exactly the same mistakes.

Seeing for how long he’s been our captain, the leadership qualities are definitely there.

A role comparable as Nedved had. Hard to pinpoint what he exactly did, but we know that we was involved as Agnelli’s right hand and that we was very close to the team, plus able to translate things in front of the cameras. For me it’s a no-brainer, but it can’t be just Del Piero alone, like you already said.

love ya man and i'm with you when it comes to the uselessness of our current board but we disagree here on the solution :boh:
