Koop is a pure class, his eye for a pass can make a difference. With him tonight, this could have been entirely different game. Chico looks like a gem as well. Thuram is good enough for the bench with a solid potential for more. Jury is still out for DL.
Well I cant judge Koop yet cause he had like 3 games or so. Chico looks alright but is he really a starting level winger ?

Ive seen 8 League Games and 3 Champions League Games and to be honest other than Kalulu (maybe Koop) I wouldnt mind if all the others Are out Next Summer again.

Id argue you could expect more after committing 250 mil

What he has shown so far, he looks like one. Scored fantastic goal against Leipzig, he is genuine threat on that right side, always creating something. Its too early though to writte off players.

Yes, great goal, but there’s just a lot I don’t like about his game. He looks one dimensional and far too many stupid fouls and goes down way to easily

He is also very young, 22 yo. He has time to work on his game. For me, he was pleasent surprise so far. Unlike DL, who is becoming concern while we all had bigger expectations from him.

If Conceicao is the guy for the right flank, which I'm still skeptical on partly because of tonight, then I don't want to use Cambiaso as the RB, nor Savonna obviously. Chico already cuts in to use his left foot 99% of the time, so we need an overlapping RB, not a falseback. We can't have both Chico and Cambi doing the same thing. We would need someone like Tchatchoua or Tiago Santos instead to overlap.

If Yildiz has to play in the center to be effective, then he would need to take the Koop role, and move Koop back next to Loca I guess. But not sure how that will work and now we need a left winger because Mbangula will be an Empoli player soon.

All these expensive signings and yet we still don't have a coherent, available squad with class players. That is shameful.

Squad needs another 250 mill. We went for quantity over quality this round probably with the objective of top 4 in mind and it being a transition season (lower salary bill and avg age but maintain same results).

Most of these youngsters will be rotation/squad player material. I'd be happy if one of them is true first team material.

Motta has no experience with big clubs and winning trophys..

It was always a punt to hire him and expect great results..

At least Half of the performances this year have been worse than last year..
So much this.

Said it from day one we brought him.

One shot at goal at home against Stuttgart.

Get the fuck out! My grandma would do better at the helm. She used to say: give the ball to Ronaldo. But no, our coaches need to implement their genious thesis first!

Missed this one but let me guess:

Overrun in the midfield, the defence pressed into making errors and our creative players smothered to where we created zero chances. Subs were made to change the game, but it was just player for player without a change in tactics and so nothing changed.

How close am I?

Mister - this is Juventus. All that matters here is winning.

You can play a million different lineups in Serie A. The only thing it'll cost you is points in Marotta's shitty league.

But in the Champions League, once real money is on the line, play-time is over. It's time to be a professional and act like one. You're not a maestro. We're not paying to watch you "perform" like a concert pianist or a conceptual artist that deploys the latest tactical scheme du jour. Real money has been invested to get the most out of this squad. What happened against Stuttgart cannot happen again...

If you are not happy with the player investment, that's fine, manage upwards and get on the same page with Giuntoli.

Honestly, I think we’ll play a decent game against Inter. A huge part of the problem was thar Motta already had one eye on the Inter game and completely underestimated Stuttgart.
If so then it is a rookie mistake, which a rookie coach like him would make. But even if he's distracted by the derby, 22 shots (10 shots on target) allowed at home is beyond abysmal. I am hoping it is underestimation that played a larger part but I don't think so.

But where do we find these 250 mil ? It feels like we sold everyone that could create a plusvalenza - no Sponsor and lots of commitments for next Summer.
