Absolutely pathetic from him tonight. No excuses.

Did he and his team actually study how Stuttgart play? We looked totally shellshocked and physically (and tactically) outmatched from the first minute. His subs were awful, his lack of a spark at HT when we badly needed it was clueless and taking odd Conceicao and Vlaho at a time when they looked like they were losing a bit of energy. Baffling.

Inter this weekend will be an even sterner test and I honestly think the scoreline could be embarrassing there.
Honestly, I think we’ll play a decent game against Inter. A huge part of the problem was thar Motta already had one eye on the Inter game and completely underestimated Stuttgart.

I think we lost 2:0 and we had more shots and possession than Maccabi.
Check today's stats.
It's just one match though. There was more promise in the beginning of the season, but now we are seemingly sliding back into old habits, which we can't do. For whatever reason this seems to happen at one point or another.

Motta should be given the whole season to correct this, especially in the attacking phase.

Could be the case. Taking off Dusan and Chico to rest them a bit before Inter but didnt pay off tonight. Disappointing game altogether. We never looked capable of scoring tonight while looked shaky in defense, easily bullied into errors.

first time our defense completely fell apart. kalulu (and thuram) isn't enough, the others were not on par with the occasion at all. and that midfield... when the live bread summons rabiot you know that shit really hit the fan lol

forget this and back to the drawing board, in a few days we have a derby to play

Got is wrong today. We were miles off it and completely overrun in midfield.

Far too much reliance on players who aren't ready or are not good enough. I don't like the heavy rotation either, seems like it is making it more difficult to build a style of play and momentum.

Yep. 0-4 Chelsea.

Today was terrible. We were completely outclassed but most humiliating? No fucking way.
Yeah, plenty of horrible games we can come up with over the last few seasons. Bremer's injury was always going to be hard to overcome. Missing Koop as well. Its a team that is trying to find its rythm vs well drilled team.

I am afraid of what will happen against inter. Merda is lethal in transition... will be a tough game. He completely got outcoached today and got his ass handed to him
What did you expect Motta to be reincarnation of Pep Guardiola? We are not good enough to compete for serie a and champions league.

before i forget, someone tell me why he kept gatti on the bench for the last few minutes and what he expected from rouhi

that vlahovic - adzic sub wasn't too smart either
That Vlahovic sub was the most Allegriesque sub Motta has made. Totally took away a reference point for us upfront, and we had a couple of crosses as well that fell to no one as there was no one to exploit the chance.

We’ve been bad for a while now and this loss was coming. I honestly see a second loss at the weekend. And we will probably be definitely out of the race for the Scudetto too.
