This is why women should be banned from football
Don't even start me.... my local club which is in the 6th tier of English football has stupid female fans who defend the manager when the fact that a team that should be fighting for a play off promotion spot is currently lingering in relegation with 1 point from a possible 15, but because unlike his predecessor this shit manager allows for selfies and autographs with the players in the club house/bar and the manager tells footballing stories to convince them that "he knows his stuff" and should there for remain in the job as he continues to fail.

so mbangula 1.81m tall. nico is 1.80 m. koop is 1.84 m and yildiz is 1.86/1.87m

very unusual to see one taller attacking player in today's modern game. feels like most are under the 1.80m range. almost impossible to see 3 starters be in that taller height range.

wonder if motta will adapt his system to send more crosses in. could be a real nightmare for teams to defend against so many taller players in the box. and thats not including vlahovic

Interesting when we have Gatti and Bremer (and potentially Cabal) up for set pieces, and a dead ball expert like Douglas Luiz.

Maybe we need to pivot from most handsome to most Bendtner

First big-ish game and he played it safe. Disappointing but still early days.

Hope we pick things up in the next game because this was one to easily forget.

Strong in defense, didn't feel threatened until the last 5-8 minutes. Overall, not a good game offensively. We should have won because Roma were scared and didn't feel that much threatening. We are gonna need a lot more against inter and hell even Napoli.

Disappointing, but a lot of new players means we're still finding our best XI.

Positives: Defence still looking solid, and not just because of individual quality. Good to see we have a more attack-mined coach and haven't sacrificed the back line. Zero goals in three games is excellent. Digre not been tested properly yet.

Negatives: No proper plan A for this game never mind plan B. Maybe down to chemistry but Cambiaso was never going to make anything happen and The Count didn't show up. Dusan smothered in the centre and ineffectual.

Also bizarre team selection in general. I understand not wanting to just chuck everybody in as soon as they arrive but...tbh that's exavtky what we should have done. It's not like Savona and Mbangula have been playing with the first team for years. An improvising Conceicao looked brighter for 45 than Cambiaso did.

No reasons to panic and huge room for benefits of doubts. Just felt like a waste of time to watch, which we're familiar with in Juve games but I'd hoped we were past that.

I don't think we have the defenders to win silverware

Get bsck into the CL next year & reach the knockouts whilst playing an actual system & not terrorist ball and that's a good season

Then we need to fill in whatever gaps the team had. Mainly full back, CB and #9 if Vlahovic can't learn to pass the ball

Team chemistry is obviously an issue right now. Too many changes at once and it was reflecting in the way we were playing. Too many sloppy misplaced passes, mids not picking the runs of the attackers. This is pretty common.

I thought we'll really struggle at the back but it has been surprisingly good so far. Still feel we miss that out and out ball playing CB capable of handling the press.

We are still not that confident yet in imposing our game. Solid start to the season though but it's clear that we are a work in progress.

You can see what having Calafiori would have brought the team. Annoying to miss out on him.
