I don't care if my captain and cb's look like the huntchback of Notre Dame as long as he's kicking the shit out of opponents, and making them shit their shorts every time they get near the 18 yard box,Giorgio is the man.

Some one ELI5 why he’s labeled a fraud? Were low IQ Jj fans convinced he has skins on the wall coming into this role?

Rewarding and starting underperforming players ahead of players who truly deserve to start willl only create a shit storm throughout the dressing rooms.

I'd be interested to know more about on what metric he thinks Koop and Gonzalez deserve to start over Thuram or Yildiz or even Mbangula.
    .
Honestly no need for to hear his answer, tells me has to go by his statement. Nico getting 210 minutes last two matches while Yildiz got 52 is all I needed. Coach, no clue in your head how important making final 16 was? And in reality we probably had it if you didn't delay putting in the subs.

Thiago #Motta : “ #Yildiz has great potential. He can play both wide and centrally: on the left in one-on-one situations you can create important situations but he has to close the action more by shooting on goal. He has to get into the area to score. He has quality and physical strength”. #Juventus

#Motta : “We played well, but we had to close the match by making it 2-0. I want to think that we were tired after the match 3 days ago. In the second half we knew how to suffer. Next week #Juve at -6 from the top? We always think game by game”. #Juventus

Thiago Motta speaks to DAZN after Cagliari-Juventus

YILDIZ - "I completely agree. I've heard Montella talk about him many times. He has great physical, technical, and mental strength, and he's very generous in the defensive phase. Whether he plays as a winger or centrally, it makes little difference—he has the qualities to do both.

From the outside, I see a player who can create very important situations. Playing on the left and cutting inside to finish, he definitely needs to improve his finishing. Situations like tonight’s often arise, or sometimes he doesn’t actively seek them out. He has all the potential.

We saw a counterattack where he showed he’s physically ready. He arrives with strength and clarity, and improving his finishing will come with time. But I like how he gets into those positions—whether as a winger or an attacking midfielder, he needs to enter the box where goals are scored. We emphasize this a lot. The same goes for Conceição.

We created a lot but didn’t close out the match—we did everything ourselves. We know Cagliari, we know the difficulties, and since we didn’t finish the game off, we had to know how to suffer. I completely agree with Montella on Kenan."

TALENT - "In our offensive phase, sometimes we have Koop and McKennie inside, and the striker has to make those movements. He has huge potential and a physicality that allows him to make efforts both in attack and defense. He arrives with power, has a sharp movement, and even for goalkeepers, it’s difficult to deal with.

We have to keep pushing him. He’s a player of a high level and can improve a lot."

VERTICAL PLAY - "We already knew that by having two central defenders and Locatelli in the buildup, we could create superiority. We imagined being able to play one-on-one, with Di Gregorio using long balls to find Kenan in an advantageous position. They always had one extra man at the back.

We managed possession well, played good football, and the pitch was fast. Our players are technically strong and can put their teammates in good positions or open up spaces internally, as we did a few times.

We created a lot in the first half—I’d like to think we just lacked a bit of clarity in finishing. With the number of games we’ve played, if we had played the first half normally, we would have gone into the locker room with a different result. In the second half, we had to know how to suffer."

6 POINTS FROM THE TOP - "Are we thinking about the title race? Marco, we take it game by game. We’ve had a great season so far, but the league is very balanced, and teams struggle to win. Apart from Atalanta today, who showed great strength, the other teams are similar to us, struggling to close out games.

Today’s three points were important. Now we focus on the Coppa Italia, then Hellas Verona—the next battle. We always give our maximum and take it match by match, always aiming for the three points because that’s what matters most."
