Yeah let's wait for more mess ups so they can finally be convinced that he is a fraud. How much more obvious does it need to be?
Nah, we are literally the new Man United. We could hire pretty much anyone and it wouldn't matter. Everything we touch turns to shit. We need new leadership, new management, and a different perspective on football entirely. No more Italian waste from any club. Personally, I would go after the folks at Eintracht, as clearly they know how to run a club. There are zero people in Italy I would trust as a coach, director, or owner. It's all antiquated garbage from top to bottom.

Thiago Motta’s future depends on the Champions League. If Juventus won’t qualify for UCL 25/26, the coach could be not confirmed.

"Winning is not an obsession" immediately goes up there with "It's not like Juve wins the Coppa every year" and the €10 nonsense.

Longer-time Jj fans what are some shocking things other previous managers have said that reveal how wrong they are for this job?

Most recent one has to be.

Motta:"We did not throw anything away"

I hate it when managers refuse to take accountability, and we've had a lot of them.

He already failed by not qualifying for the round of 16 proper - that was the minimum requirement.

He should be fucked off regardless.

I like how our incompetent management, led by a bunch of cucks, keep shifting the goalposts to suit whatever fucked up narrative they have.
I was told it was too soon to judge months ago.

At least you see it now and recognize the change needs (needed*) to happen. Lucky for Motta it hasn’t been so catastrophic and obvious. The guy has kept the team just below the “keep your job” line that it’s been hard to make the call. But struggling for top 4 and bowing out of CL already should be his death blow to his job

Game and in game management. How he select player to start in every game and how he utilized his subtitute to respond opposite tactical change is things that he should improve.
Another thing is how he can revive team mentality after loss.

If he can overcome that, i think Juve should be fine to at least get UCL qualification. In terms of tactical, 4 match before shows that there is improvement of play compared to what he showed in the first half of the season.

Honestly, not too fussed about us getting kicked out of CL because I had very low expectations. We lose out on some additional revenue but this is not a top 10/12 team in Europe and this coach/team is clearly not capable of handling multiple competitions.

But missing out on top 4 would be a bigger economic disaster. Rumors of Bonucci makes me nervous. Thats Roma level coaching appointment and this puts us in serious danger of becoming a mid-table team for the next half a decade.

Even though he should go, just for the sake of this club's financial future, I hope we can go on some sort of winning streak in the league and secure 4th. This squad is not worse than Lazio, Viola or even Atalanta. Team needs to pick itself up, forget what happened in Holland and push the club towards next season's CL.

We'll see soon enough. He made sure he has more time for the game preparations himself.

His selections and subs against PSV goes down as some of the worst I have seen in the 30 plus years i have been watching this club.

No CL...less games, start your best every game...we cant afford to not make the top 4. Yildiz and thuram should be the first two he chooses every game.

Thiago Motta:

After the disappointment against PSV, the best thing is to get back on the pitch. It will be a difficult match in Cagliari, we know the challenges in that environment. We have to play a great game to continue our championship run."

"Weah is doing very well as a full-back: he knows how to be aggressive, defend and win duels. He can improve, but he always goes to attack his man. In addition to this, he also gives us a big hand in the offensive phase: I'm happy with what he's doing in that position."

"My communication and that of the players is the same: we criticise ourselves every day, both myself and the team. The disappointment is widespread because we thought we would reach the Round of 16 in the Champions League: on the pitch, however, PSV did better than us. Now we have to start again and think about tomorrow's match and then next week."

"We will not have Veiga and Kalulu available, as well as Bremer, Cabal and Milik. I have no doubt that the lads will put in their maximum effort tomorrow: the important thing is to show that we want to start again and put out a solid performance. That's all we have to focus on."

"Our objective is to understand what are the best solutions during the course of the match to put the opponent in difficulty: to take the opportunity to win, there are so many variables in football, so I don't just look at data and numbers. Every game offers indications on what to improve: in the last one, for example, we saw that after an hour the opponents were more efficient than us."

"Over the last few weeks we have been more vertical, yes: you have to choose the right moment of the match to use the long ball, it's not a solution regardless. If the opponents are playing defensively, for example, you have to move forward with the ball and find other ways: we are young and we have to grow in this and many other aspects."

"Alberto Costa has been doing well in training since he arrived: he is attentive, learns quickly and has excellent physical qualities. If he keeps working like this, when his opportunity comes he will do very well: he is hungry and I see how hard he works in training. He's happy to be at Juve, but he wants to prove his worth: I'm happy to have him in the squad."

"Conceicao gained experience at Ajax and Porto - two big clubs that know how to play football. He has a lot of room for improvement, even in the last few metres of the pitch: when to choose to dribble, when to pass to a teammate or to shoot on goal. We often talk about this with him: sometimes he has to be closer to goal to try to score, sometimes more open. The important thing is his attitude: he is attentive, he listens, he improves and so far he has given us a lot. I'm convinced he will continue to do so in the future too."

"I always self-criticise, I don't need a defeat to reason about my choices. I accept everyone's opinion, but I continue along my path because I am convinced that this is the right path to follow."

"There is a chance that Vlahovic will play as a starter, as can everyone else. He can play alongside Kolo Muani, of course, when the opportunity is right, and when it is the best choice for the team."

"In today's football, just look at other teams, there are so many injuries - especially in defence: it is a key area, just look at Manchester City and Real Madrid for example. I don't think the many injuries in defence are bad luck."

"The choices on Yildiz, as on all the others, are always related to the good of the team: if he played less, it is because someone else deserved more than him, at that moment, to be on the pitch. For tomorrow, whoever is best-placed will play."

"The group has understood which way to go, against PSV we gave the maximum we could give at that moment - with all the variations that exist in football. The boys know what we want to achieve: they are intelligent and capable, then sometimes the opponent proves to be superior. We talk every day, we confront each other, keeping our goals in mind."

:blah::blah: I dont care for words, talk on the pitch motherfucker. He should have been axed months ago. 0 improvement, the team is looking worse each game. Disorganized, lack of cohesion, scrappy play, poor team selection. Game vs PSV reminded me of the times when we received pounding in England against Fullham (?). Gtfo

I'd be interested to know more about on what metric he thinks Koop and Gonzalez deserve to start over Thuram or Yildiz or even Mbangula.

The Thuram benchings are very odd and I'm surprised no journalists ask about it.
