I think there is a massive difference between a team that is cohesive and motivated who drop points because of lapses and a team that looks demotivated, confused and lack any fight. We are the latter. The former can be justified and you could argue they need time. The latter not so much.

I think he started well and it got to his head, he is arrogant in his ideas and man management. He has alienated players and by the sounds of things does not like criticism nor anyone challenging his ideas. A good coach has a plan but also recognises when it's not working or suited to his players, I think he is too pretentious for that.

His tactical nous is not up to par, his in game choices are not up to par and his man management seems woeful.

He needs time to implement his tactical system.

Bored of seeing people say we should of got conte. Let's face it he's great at league level but his record in Europe is woeful. His style of play is suited to grinding out results in serie a and we've been doing that off and on for 30 years it's become rather dull. The reason we lost so many European finals is because of old Italian sit back and try and steal a win tactics. Yes before anyone says we're nowhere near in Europe I already know that but the club wants to try play 21st century football not 1940s shite. They're failing badly but that's their vision

It is mostly hindsight choice and I don't know how Giuntoli and Conte would have co existed.

First of all we need someone with some balls to be president. You can not have a weak president of Juventus, need someone with a strong voice that protects the club.

For me, ball possession does not equal being more dominating. Ball possession just for the sake of it gets you nowhere, and it shows: We create less, score less & are more vulnerable when we lose the ball.

As for potential, I really don't know. Maybe there is, but I can't shake the feeling that we're on the verge of completely collapsing.
I wonder if what we're seeing right now is the beginning of an eventual collapse.

The next month is going to be very "interesting". If we don't pick up a few wins immediately, I wouldn't be surprised to see Roma ahead of us by early March.

do i have to add anything :snoop:
Look i always maintained as long as I would see improvements and an identity I'd be happy with this season.
It's fair to say to a point this season that has been the case, the fight backs against inter and leipzig for example.

There is something seriously wrong at the club beyond Motta, that's not to say he's exempt from any blame because right now he's as much to blame as the players and management alike. I really don't like how this mercato has gone and by selling cambiaso what does that say about the so called project? I almost feel like giuntoli is actually failing Motta and no surprises when Motta took a shot at Giuntoli about requesting players not to be sold but end up being sold anyways.
Is sacking motta going to solve anything? Probably not but what pisses me off is that this season is rapidly becoming another wasted year and back to year zero again next year.

The Juventus management has no plans to sack Thiago Motta until the completion of the season. In fact the thought hasn’t even crossed the clubs mind. Motta has all the time in the world. He was not questioned after defeats to Napoli and Benfica.Motta has the firm backing of Giuntoli.(@ilbianconerocom)

Sacchi:"Juventus are in a phase of dangerous regression i don't see a team but eleven individuals who have no Idea what to do.They can’t find the path that would lead to a total cultural revolution. Thiago Motta is a good coach; he showed it at Bologna last season, and I believe he will manage to make an impact in the long run, but I understand the frustration of the fans who want to see a more competitive team.”

Has his backing because it means sacking him also.
Now Kalulu is also out and he is going out of his mind trying even to sign some Croatian kid from Dinamo for 1.5 mil because he failed to sign a cb and we needed one since the summer. What a joke of DS

We could do something great this season with the UCL draw and bag some cash and make that top 4, maybe win the Coppa too, but not with Motta. Make the change now or everything does to shit and as more players get pissed off with Motta, we're going to have another rebuild in summer. This half season would be perfect for a new manager to seriously evaluate the team. Use this time to decide properly if Vlahovic is our main striker and if we should sell him with Diaz, Koopmeiners, and Cambiaso. Also, get a proper formation locked in and build an identity. When we drop points to Empoli at the weekend, it'll be another weekend wasted on wishful thinking that we'll suddenly click. Wrap this shitty chapter up now.

Motta: Today we missed something in the final third.

Yap this is completely new, first time it happened this season...

Motta was able to improve our passing game but not where it matters and now we are the most sterile side in Europe.
He plays the stupidest version of tiki taka while I personally dislike it even when it works (Efficiency issue).
Mentality he doesnt fit.

We should definitely sack him and if possible to get a good efficient caretaker we should do it now. Otherwise the latest is the summer.

Locatelli was the main assist man for Sassuolo and since then, we've sent him so far back that he's a CB now. How many penalties will he give away now? Clueless manager.
