Actually it's not. We'll have to play one more qualifying round in order to get to the Round of 16.
Is there any chance we can make the round of 16 with a win (lol) against Benfica and other results going our way? Or is it basically impossible? Because if it’s a tiny chance, we pathetically threw away a chance of directly qualifying for round of 16 and avoid 2 extra games (before and after inter)

2% chance according to this, although somewhere else I read it's 8% chance making it if you get 15 pts. We gotta win and hope every team above us either draws twice or loses, and anyone with a chance of overtaking us from tomorrow's matches either draws and loses as well. I expect our chances will be over by tomorrow. That's a lot to go out way.

I see some opinions saying that the job of Juventus coach is too big Motta and I sincerely believe that is not the case.

And I don't say that as a good thing, quite the opposite... In THIS Juventus whose objectives are so mediocre, in THIS Juventus where there is no pressure or urgency to win, in this Juventus, Motta is perfect and its not even his fault.

Here you have a coach who gets the oportunity to coach a "big club" and does not feel any pressure of having to win, its the perfect job for him!!!, do you think that today Motta came out worried about not winning against Bugges? Of course not!! In his mind the team is in the playoff and that is the only thing that matters, because that is what is asked of him, the same in Serie A, do you think he feel any pressure to see that the team does not know how to win? No... ihe is two points away from fourth place and at the end of the season if it achieves that fourth place even if it is by tying 90% of the games, he will have achieved the objective they set for him.

Our management has "sell us" this idea of "Year Zero" for the last 6 years, why? because that way they keep the pressure out, this Juve dont have to win, they only have to achieve minimun results...and the sad part is you already fans buying all of this "its a long time proyect" and accept everything that its happening and even defend "the proyect"..

I read that someone said that this Juventus does not know how to win... I think that this Juventus has no pressure to win and that is why Motta is calm in his position, and thats why he doesnt try nothing new, thats why he keeps playing Koop all the time, and also that is why Giuntoli is calm with a mediocre market...

Mediocre goals make a mediocre team

How many games this season so far where we’ve had only one shot on target the whole game? Pretty sure there’s a few like that, but i think there’s even more where we probably had something like under 3 shots on target too, which is unacceptable, even more so when we look at the level of opponents we’ve managed it against.

Gasperini is very attacking. Spalletti is attacking. De Zerbi is attacking. There's few more.
We don't exactly need an attacking coach per se

We need a big personality guy who's very demanding, intimidating who's ready to shake the foundations of the club if needed

There are many quality Italian coaches, not disputing that. It's the club's tendency of always seeking an Italian solution to fix things that I have a problem with.

We ousted Allegro in 2019 and wanted to change our style a little bit. We went ahead and hired a budget, bootleg version of Pep by even fucking paying his release clause simply because he's Italian. We are limiting ourselves to one market because we want a paisan as coach.

And then you see the likes of Real Madrid building fucking dynasties with foreign coaches. Imagine if they stuck to Benitez and Lopetegui because they're Spanish.

Forget nationality, just hire the best coach out there who can play reasonably decent football.

Among Italian coaches, Conte is taken, Carlo is probably nearing retirement or ready to take over an NT, Spaletti has a multi year contract with the NT I believe. And then you are left with likes of Gasperini, De Zerbi and Sarri who haven't won much in their career.

If these are the options we are left with, then I'd rather stick with Motta and give him more time.

Getting old dinosaur coaches or hipsters won't change our situation much either way. Let's stick with the hipster we have for now.

Thiago Motta isn't really Italian. They found some Italian descent in order to give him a citizenship so he could play for the Italian NT. But he was 29 when he became Italian and he spent only 9 years in Italy as a player and manager.
That's the point. Doubt we'd have looked at him if not for his Italian passport. It became very convenient that he had one.

I expected a whole lot more from Motta. But seriously, let's face it, our team is dogshit. Plenty of our starters are not even bench material for a club chasing titles.

Having said that, I doubt any coach would make this team work.
