It seems he is more focused on building an identity and playstyle from the ground up. More focused on the process than the end goal. He probably believes results will follow if we play well enough.
What I used to love about Juventus in the 90s and early 2000s was the feeling that we went out to crush every team no matter how big or small. The club seemed ruthless back then and had an intense aura of power and class.

I find most interesting that he sees his midfielders and in particular the 'trequartista' as a role all of his midfielders should be able to adopt. He wants them to be able to do a bit of everything.
It's obvious in his days at bologna. No skillfull-technical-player-with-weak-physically in midfielder. They are a bunch of aggressive mid.

More importantly than anything..hope he wears suits on the touchline instead of the hipster clown look so many modern managers have.

Keep it classic.

Mid has to have skill, aggression, tenacity & strength. That's why the Fagioli's & Miretti's will have a hard time.

getting conte vibes again.

instilling that winning mentality and need to dominate possession against other teams. no more mids who can't pass except between the 3 cbs.

And that's why chiesa is not suited to this system, he acts on instinct not disciplined in a set system
