So I'm not sure if it's been said here

But Brambati reported that

Giuntoli asked Danilo after we started leaking goals what's not working.

Danilo basically said that he and some other players

Gatti, Dusan, Luiz and Cambiaso

Don't agree with the tactics in place or rather they don't think they are working. Motta found out about this and was not happy.

Cue Danilo being shipped off.

So who is at fault here? The players that aren't going along with Motta's ideas or Motta for stubbornly sticking to his ideas
As if dusan has any clues what to do defensively:lol:

And Giuntoli basically stitched up Danilo, what a disgusting thing to do if it's true.

The only former coach we should accept is Conte. The team always click with him in charge and he really knows how to get the best out of his players.
If not Conte then someone new who has yet to fail us before.

But I do wonder.... Lippi - Yay or Nay?
Too old. He's done.

Motta was hired for his tactics, it's bizarre how players have a say on tactics and only do so because Motta doesn't have prestige. He hasn't won shit.

Danilo can boast he has been managed by winners. I'm thinking this is partially true because, maybe this is exactly what's happening at other clubs like union and milan. With players using the excuse this is the Prem or serie A, everytime a foreign coach is brought.

Anyway, this is all presumptuous but it's also another sign that Giuntoli went behind Mottas back to get involved with talking to players. Marotta rarely did, neither did tick and cherubini, because they sat on top of winning managers, whose experience you couldn't doubt. Motta doesn't have that same environment at Bologna where basically he was backed and left to do the job without meddling.

Motta needs to develop trust and trust here requires time, open communication (because we live in different times) but also efficacy.

The strange thing is that Motta even said, and he has said this before, that we score and then drop too deep. It's up to him to fix this, if the players aren't listening that is still on him to figure out.

Take it with a grain of salt but a Guru on VS said the players don't disagree with his tactics but moreso his man management.

But it begs the question, if this is all true. When was the last time we didn't have these rumours of the players turning on the coach?

Are they true? Or is this the standard exit plan put forward by upper management to justify a firing of another coach?

Or are our players spoilt brats?

The same thing happened at Milan with the firing of Fonseca players like Theo and Leao were unhappy with him.I hope Juve fully back Motta with couple of good signings we will secure fourth place.

Motta:"We dominated the game, but we dropped back too much after the goal but we nearly won the game at the end."

He presents himself respectable, atleast from the first impressions on joining club, how he talks in match conferences, and in videos but maybe, who knows.

His tactics is bizarre, the whole 2-7-2 thing, might be revolutionary but it's just needlessly convoluted. We're just not made for it, unless we bring in midtable quality players.

Both, no club is without spoilt brats nowadays.

That said, I think we will stick with him, and as much as I am a critic, I also believe he deserves a little longer, so biting my lip, we have to trust the process.

Motta:"I think we’ve played 27 matches, losing only 2, with a young squad and some injuries, which have never been used as an excuse but it needs to be taken into account."

factual. still missing the point. we should be able to win games we dominate, period. and we're not

His attack is terrible. You cannot win like this, its not possible. In fact, I'd say that I prefer Allegri's counter attack style. I'm sure even that had higher xG.

This is a new level of sterility. The amount of passing backwards and to the sidelines is as if we're betting on the match.

Its interesting to me how in this age of podcasts you have retired players revealing much of what happened in the locker room and you realize this kind of stuff is more common that we think.

if true this explains why we play like we do.
