I agree with lion, it is the end of october and this team has no identity as of yet, injuries aside, if he can't figure out that danilol and locacrapitly should not play then, I think and maybe it has happened but guintoli should tell him we are juve not bologna, you have till christmas or else,it should not take this long to figure things out, mistakes are made, but learn from them, for shit sakes, as fans we can see that danilol is done, stop playing him, he is not a central defender, what about kalulu? Because we took a risk with an inexperienced, but potentially good, coach with the hope he will do well in the long run. Firing Motta now begs the question why hired him the first place. It was always going to be a transitional phase.

I agree, but Im assuming Kalulu desperately needed rest. If so, the only alternative would have been to move Cabal to CB and replace Danilo with Savona, who also sucks.

Does he? Offers not much going forward, but looks solid defensively. I'd like to see him as CB.

He does suck yes. Anyways, moving Cabal to CB and playing Savona, is for sure not a guarantee to succeed either, that was my point. It might have sucked less. But we agree that Danilo shall never play in our shirt again.

The squad building did not help in any case. Why loan out Rugani and Djalo without adding someone else. Did they really think Bremer and Gatti would play all the 50+ matches?

That said, Motta deserves all the critisicm for the mess in the last couple of games. Seems Bremer was the only one holding the defence together.

After an exciting start of the season this is starting to feel like the Ciro Ferrara season..

Agreed. Even if Danilo is the main reason why we are conceding goals, the differential before and after Bremer's injury is so huge, making it looks like Motta so far doesn't seem to have made the team working systematically to defend and there's nothing in our defense department but Bremer's individual brilliance.

He and his players need time, this team is united and hunger, i believe in motta and these players ( not danilo obviously ).
We just need to fix our defensive line.
