Interesting thread, though it would have been more interesting few years back. :D

Ivica Olic - Forrest Gump on a football pitch. Though last year he has improved, he's still not a football player.

Robert Kovac - Legrotaglie of the old, completelly unreliable and I never thought he was much good before either, was as always average.

Ivica Mornar, Petar Krpan, Nenad Bjelica, Tomislav Butina, Bosko Balaban, etc. There were tons of them in the past years.
Well both Kovac brothers should have played for Germany.

Pepe- I don't know what he has done to get called-up,horrible player IMO.Can't score. The Molinaro of the strikers.

Materazzi- I think he needs no introduction.I think that his NT career is over.Thank god.Gotta give him credit for the WC 2006 though.

Barzagli- He's worse than Materazzi and is the most overrated defender of the past 50 years.Italian Boumsong.

Panucci- Scores a goal every now and then but shouldn't be called up and should make way for the young guns.
Any guy named after something you shit out of can't be good.

Well I wouldn't have been heart-broken if they had decided that.

I would have to say Zlatan Ibrahimović and it's not for any of the reasons related to Inter. It's because the guy can't seem to score for his life. In the past three years he has only scored two goal.

That's because deep inside he longs to play for BiH. :p

That isn't your national team any more. You got citizenship. You're free to have Landon Donavan as much as we do now. ;)

First 11 players:
Kevin "Killer" Kilbane: Can't dribble, can't pass, can't shoot.
Robbie Keane: Hugely over-rated. He never looks bothered when playing for his country. Was an awful choice for captain.
Stephen Hunt: Work rate: 10 out of 10. Everything else: 1 out of 10

Squad players:
Alex Bruce: His father being Steve Bruce doesn't make him good.
Kevin Foley
Paul McShane
Darron Gibson

What's that? I thought you're an Azzurri fanboy.
