Both of them (Fab and Aly) are worth 20m young and with loads of potential, but I doubt Marotta would spend that much on fullbacks, he'd rather but a 20m striker than a 20m fullback.

Cassani is great, I know there's a trend on this forum calling all Italians average, but if there is a non average Italian footballer these days in Serie A, then it's Cassani, but he's too attacking for a 4-4-2 with Palermo, he along with Balzaretti get's the freedom to overlap, I doubt he'd get that with Juve.

Funny thing how 3 of the best Italian players in Serie A now, used to play for Juve Cassani, Balzaretti, and Nocerino. Say what do you like about Nocerino but he's very, very good nowdays.
We will get pirlo for regista role. For that to work we need to have that defensively covered. palermo gives balz and cass the tactical freedom, we will give it to pirlo
bottom line, we need a nonflashy, defensively very solid right and left back.
ziegler and beck could work.

Moggi:
Benzema would not do good in Juve
Aguero is a very good player and could do well in Italy
Aquilani is a good player and nothing more. I would not buy him if I was in charge.
agreed with everything, and i said benz was not good for us since last october

Yeah, Balz and Cassani get the freedom to overlap because Palermo have hard working midfielders ready to cover for the fulbacks and now with Pirlo, Juve don't have that. Beck and Ziegler could work, but you'll need a great left winger.

true, its all about choises. alot of people like to see teams with 4 creative players and 2 strikers that all dont work. those formations down work and get torn apart by great defensive units who keep the space short, and effectively mark the key players out of the game.

Having a pirlo brings interested choises. if he is tactically freed, he offers a far greater surplus then any good fullback we can get. However this means we need to cover this
2 fullbacks rated purely for their defensive skills
a leftwinger that can create chances, but also work for the team, much like seedorf at his prime with milan

bastos, isnt as good as seedorf used to be i think, but he brings power and creativety.
for now, that might be our way forward.

hence, ziegler, beck, bastos and a free pirlo, if that is all, shurely we might just have enough to spend on aguero ?

Because he can play different positions and does have quality. If we could trade some players I'd like us to sign Zarate.
Zarate is just so wasteful.

He might be quite nice to watch when he's playing for someone else, but I bet he's infuriating if he plays for your team.
