Not usually specific players, but they do discuss things like amount of mercato cash, scouting, and the amount of control of transfers the coach will have.

It's different from coach to coach. Depends much on one's personality.
Can give you an example, if we were to go for Van Gaal or Mourinho they would make demands on players. May not be concrete players but a certain type of players. Not the Pazienza's
