That's the rumour from Pompillo, I have no sauce on this.

Although, yesterday I was told about a Chelsea D and later on Di Marzio mentioned Alex. Could we be going for Carlo? That source mentioned we're going for an Italian coach that knows Juve and would divide the fans. Leads to him IMO.

I don't understand why folks have Banega in their formations. If we want that sort of player, we'll go for Montolivo, no question about that.

To get all the french rising stars we just need one guy: Didier Deschamps.

And the man is our only shot on Hazard. Zidane's words aren't enough for Marotta. M'Vila and Cissokho could be a bonus, too.
Pretty much. I think M'Vila is a realistic target for us even now. He'd be an upgrade to Sissoko.

Journalist Pompilio(throws rumours left and right)

    DN to go anyway.
    Mazzarri invention of the media.
    New Juve coach DD. :touched:
    Pirlo 99%.
Fishing a lot in France. Rumours M'Vila and Hazard. :superhapp
Amauri wants to come back. :( Juve want to pack him to the Viola.
    Midfield revolution.
Moggi to come back. Making the mercato with DD. :shifty:
Bjerknes: 99% rumors and won't happen.

If we are to go for an italian then he'd be the best option out of the lot. I wouldn't be too upset. If he were to come, we'd be linked with Anelka, Alex, Malouda & Zhirkov.:D

Elkann family seem not to care about Juventus, I read that they have invested in Cricket heavily, and now they want to invest 300 million euro in formula1.

They have money, but they don't care about us. Give Juventus 100 million euro to invest this summer, and we would be back on track.

IMO and many others it would be good invested money, because we would raise the quality and more people would visit the new stadium, we would probably reach CL faster, and that would get us money. If we continue like this we will loose more and more every year.

When we are back we can invest less and make less changes every year.

This summer it's time for the Elkanns to show if they care for Juventus or not, because they have the money

Those deals don't really have a great deal to do with Juventus.

Exor (the company that John Elkann is Chairman of) is making these purchases not the Elkann's themselves and by the sounds of it both the cricket ground and formula one look lke great investments. John Elkann cannot just go and spend Exor's money just because he wants to, he has to make decisions on behalf of the shareholders.

I am all for the Elkanns putting in money into Juve but I don't think that the above deals have anything to do with that, in fact they are likely to lead to more money for them in the future to put into the club.

Plus lets not forget that we have spent substantially in recent years, with little to show for it. We need to make better decisions with what we have in the future.

Spot on. Besides, football clubs hardly bring in profit, why would they decide to throw money down the drain with a bad investment? I see no point on bitching about the Elkanns being uninterested.

Indeed, since returning to Serie A, Juventus has been one of the top spenders in Europe. And there's a new stadium on the way as well. I'm not sure he's happy to see millions wasted on players like Almiron, Andrade, Amauri (I'm seeing a pattern here) etc.
