Lass was great against Barca. Much more of a footballer than Sissoko. I'd take that trade.
I hear the "Lass out of Madrid" rumors for a while now but I still can't understand why would Mourinho get rid of him. It won't surprise me Real to do such a dumb move, but it will surprise me if Mourinho does it.

And guys, regarding the Aguero rumor, with that 100m shit circulating in the press, you can expect many big names to now be linked with us. Hopefully a big disappointment won't follow when we won't buy any of those guys.
So lets concentrate on the [insert any not attractive player] rumors and that way we can only be pleasantly surprised if we buy a star, but we won't be disappointed if we don't :D

No, out of those three he mentioned, there aren't any RBs in Serie A at all.

But Maicon has been pretty poor this season, yeah.
True, he isn't the Maicon of last year.

But then again, only few good Rb's available that were impressive this season, VdW hasn't been performing as he has been last season either.
Beck, maybe, didn't see much of him this season so who knows?
I guess we can only hope that whatever we will sign, will be a serious upgrade compared to the l*s*rs we have had as a Rb this season

There's very few top RB's in Europe though Dooz.

Alves is the best for sure.

You have the likes of Richards, VDW, Sagna, Johnson,Corluka who are very good. Still it's hard to find very good RB's.
I thought you were talking about Serie A only. There are some in Europe, yeah. But the swiss is probably only decent compared to others.

I can't believe we missed out on James Rodriguez aswell, we're idiots.
I agree.

We won't play tactics that require an attacking fullback (we needed those last year). If we keep playing wingers like Krasic (or Seba style wingers) then it will be very good to have solid defenders. Actually, no matter what we play, we will still desperately need a RB and a LB that defend really well.
I'm all for the rumors linking us with Lazio's fullbacks. But we will need a kickass LW in that case, because Radu hardly ever contributes in attack, unlike Licht who has the strength to run up and down all the time.
Even if neither of Radu/Lichtsteiner seems like an attractive option, they will be an excellent addition, you can trust me on that. It will be an especially successful transfer if there is truth in the rumors and Martinez or Amauri are included in a potential deal like that one. We will not only improve the defense a lot but we will get rid of players we don't need and pay less for wages in the process, leaving us more money for a great LW we will desperately need.

I've heard Amauri + 6.5 Million.

That's gonna be good business, imo. When you add the fact that Amauri alone earns at least 30% more than what both Radu and Lichtsteiner will earn, in 2 years, when you count all the expenses, it will be like a direct swap Amauri for the two fullbacks.
Btw, is next year the last year of Amauri's contract with Juve? I think he signed a 4 year contract with us, not a 5 year one, and if that's the case then next season will be his last here so it's gonna be great if we can get something out of him this summer.

But won't come close to getting back the 34.5 million dollars we spent on Janet and martinez... Not to mention their senseless wages we have paid them.
