For Juve to finish in the top 3 they need a true world class player, someone of a proven class, a player who's good enough to drag a team to victory on his own. Someone in the mould of Robben, Tevez, Sneijder etc...
Or have a strong solid rich and deep squad with a astute manager who knows to get the best out of his players.
