Juventus plan spending spree

Juventus will be ambitious in their spending this summer even if they don't qualify for the Champions League, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri currently lie seventh in Serie A with five games of the season remaining and it appears unlikely that they will finish in fourth spot.

Sources close to Juventus claim Andrea Agnelli will make the same amount of funds available for transfers
, but fears the club is losing its immediate appeal.

Even so, the Bianconeri hope to tie up a deal for 17-year-old Brazilian starlet Gabriel Appelt in the next 48 hours while talks for Palermo striker Abel Hernandez are embryonic.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta will be in Milan for the 2011 Scouting Forum today.

It's said that he will talk with his colleagues about Riccardo Montolivo and Andrea Pirlo.

Juventus have also reportedly been encouraged that a bid of between €10m and €12m will be enough to make Alberto Aquilani's move from Liverpool permanent.

What is this scouting Forum?
No.

It's like a jigsaw.

Moggi said weeks ago we should take Mancini.

Moggi also said if he could have one player at Juventus now it'd be Balotelli.

Raiola a good friend of Moggi goes to Vinovo.

:D

The Bale stuff I have from VS though :p

Which is, Bale has agreed to join us, we've offered Tottenham 22 Million they want 30 Million, however the will of the player could prevail.
Interesting rumors today. I'm with Moggi, bring Balotelli.
Marotta on DN:

He has done well with a new group of players but ultimately results are the most important for us and the fans, it'd be wrong to say anything about the coach now. We'll sit down at season end.

He's gone for sure.
Marotta:

We never had any intention of selling Buffon
Good. I'm liking these quotes.

As usual, being an ardent supporter of the "society" and a premium Marotta apologist, you choose to look beyond the deeper meaning of my comments :sigh:

Marotta needs to show ambition and intent. He should make a counter offer, not based on money or wages, but guarantees of first team football, presentation of an ambitious project, if anything to push Chelsea. We don't necessarily have to win the race for the player, which is highly unlikely anyway, but we can at least make an effort and make it harder for them.

In any case, this defeatist mentality of yours is exactly why the club is in a massive shithole now!

Big agent in Brazil: I proposed Juve Ganso four years ago, they declined.
Makes perfect sense. We can't afford to compete for the best players, nor are we willing to take risks on promising youngsters. Where does that leave us? With a bundle of overpaid, mediocre players, mostly Italian sprinkled with a few foreigners!

Didn't take you long to get up to speed with your own little clique on your return, did it? ;)

We can put bids in for Neymar, futile bids, if Chelsea are really negotiating. I could also put my name forward to run the 100m in the 2012 Olympics.

Let's focus on players we can actually sign. If Chelsea go cold on Neymar then he's a (very outside) option, but we aren't getting into any bidding wars with teams that rich, this should be realised.

I'd rather be a Marrota hater than a member of the "Society" of apologists and supporters :p

Every player has a price, and I'm quite certain we can throw in some players and make a decent bid along with guarantees of first team football if we are serious enough about the player ;)
