Well he didn't have much better options (apart from Cassano) and is still better than most coaches we have been linked recently.
I think he could be a good choice because the players would respect him more than our previous coaches and might give their all for him.

It seems our players didn't really believe in Ranieri, Zac and now Del Neri as they have no past pedigree.

If Marotta could get Mascherano, Beck, Sanchez, Bastos and sign the following (Matri, Quag, Aquilani) on a permanent basis, then this should be a fantastic mercato. Almost cover up all of our weaknesses and add some fuel to the engine

Are there any reports yet on our transfer budget this summer? (estimate of course)

Or, would anyone want to guesstimate the budget?

We want Sanchez , he'll join City or Merda .
Pastore , is wanted by some other teams , Zammpa wants alot , so no chance again .
Aguero its just dream .

Bastos,Beck,Matri,Quagliarela,Zigler,Aquilani - All what i can exept from Marotta .

Matri and Quags are buys for me.
Aquilani I still have some doubt.
Pepe, maybe as long as he is a bench player. He'd be a good backup.
Motta ....
Traore ....
Rinaudo ...
Self explanatory.

Pepe also for the 7.5 million we would have to pay for him?

At least, if my memory is correct

With our without the money we would need for Aquilani, Matri and Quag?
Assuming the others are definately not signed
If Juventus is ever going to establish itself as a 6th/7th placed team under the direction of Marotta and Co, then we must continue to sign players that will achieve this goal!

Getting so depressed about the summer transfer mercato already and it's only March :(

Gourcuff is being mentioned?

Man, is anyone else worried now that Roma suddenly have a new cash cow? Now we have to compete with Inter, Milan, Napoli and Roma...son of a bitch.
No. If they really want a stadium, there will not be any wild spending. Not that their ownership is capable of City/Chelsea like spending to begin with, as none of their 4-5 investors are known for having a high net worth. I'm sure they will sign some players at 1st, but I don't see them emulating that every season like the recent take overs in England.

They will be more competitive because they wont need to sell their Chivu's and Aquilani's anymore to balance the books. We still generate more revenue than them and that won't change.

Google translate on the meeting earlier today:

On Monday, took place on the board of Exor, the Agnelli family safe and owner of Juventus. The meeting chaired by John Elkann has approved the 2010 budget which sees investment company return to profitability: the consolidated result of € 136.7 million is compared to a loss of 388.9 million in 2009, an increase of 525.6 million . Also up the Net (net assets) that has reached the 8.3 Milardi euro. Numbers on the rise, stating that the excellent state of health that is experiencing the corporate owner of Juventus. Scenario is made even more places that the prospects for 2011 are in fact more rosy. Therefore increased the demand by Juventus supporters of an investment to boost the ambitions of Juventus: not the case languishes, the hope of the fans is that they choose to inject liquidity into Juventus and not just in cricket or in the publishing world . We will know more definitely the next to be held on April 28 when the shareholders' Exor.
136.7m they can put in their pockets, or reinvest in Exor's various holdings. Unfortunately for us, were the least attractive option if they want to make money. Hopefully Andrea is not the only Juventus fan at Exor.

I'm convinced that the likes of Tuttosport and Goal.com have some kind of 'Juventus transfer rumour globe' that contains the names of every player in the sport today on it. Every morning someone takes their turn to spin it, close their eyes and then pick a player, hey presto....

.....News for the day!!!

It's getting bad for your health to try and follow all the football gossip nowadays
