I don't know...in my opinion Motta and Rossi are two different cases. Rossi is born from an Italian family, while Motta is born from a Brazilian family. Motta has no ties to the homeland, where as Rossi does.

i believe rossi moved to italy when he was fairly young, 12, 13. Some argue he learned much of his trade in Italy
