Who the hell says they feel American everywhere but on a football pitch? What a freakin' moron. It's like BD thinking he's part of the Jewish race.
I'm totally with you on the Rossi issue. Dude is a clown for picking Italy. Representing your national team is all about giving back to the country that made you the person you are and not about picking "cool" teams.

Someone who's lying about what a gloryhunter they are.
That's what it seems like.

I feel italian on the pitch

why do you even bother supporting an Italian side? all you do is mock and hate upon everything about the country, be it their national team or the players. talk about loss identity.
Why don't you like Maccabi Hong Kong?

Depends on how keen he is to replace Ferguson at Man Utd.
Isn't this supposed to be Fergie's last year in charge? Mou would so be there.

And as far as Neymar goes, I'd rather have Pastore but wouldn't complain either way. It would be pretty funny to see Rossi here though. "I feel so Italian now that I play for Juve but I still hop on a plane to Jersey after every practice"

I honestly don't care if its Sanchez, Neymar or Pastore as long as we end up signing a game changer or as they say in American sports, franchise player.

Rossi has immediate Italian ancestry. Although he was born in the U.S. I honestly feel like its his choice to either choose the U.S. or Italy. Now, if he were to get a Brazilian passport in which he has no ties I can see the controversy.

Giuseppe Rossi is a second or third generation Italian, correct? That means he is still very close to the Italian culture, so I don't judge him. In my opinion its up for him to decide.

To whoever said that Rossi should play for the team that helped him become who he was...keep in mind he played more soccer in italy then in the u.s and it shows in how he plays.

Brazilian media say Ganso to Inter

Brazilian media suggest the €35m race to sign Paulo Henrique Ganso has already been won by Inter.
Both Milan sides have made it clear they would like to bring in the 21-year-old trequartista from Santos.

There is also competition from Chelsea and Olympique Lyonnais, but according to O’Globo the race is run.

It is reported this evening that Inter have already agreed a deal worth €35m to bring Ganso to San Siro in the summer.

Milan defender Thiago Silva had suggested as much this week, noting the presence of Coach Leonardo would likely draw Ganso to Inter.
Inter's midfield would look unstoppable with the added addition of Ganso. (Inter Ti Odio)

Yeah, all that great Italian culture at the Jersey Shore. Uh huh, right.

But it doesn't matter what we have to say. Rossi says he feels American anywhere but on a pitch. He claimed it himself. He feels American on the street, at a barbers shoppe, at a pizzeria, scarfing down his mama's stromboli, playing XBox, watching Yankees vs. Dodgers, whatever. That's the way he feels.

So Rossi actually isn't Italian at all. He rejects Italian culture. He only morphs into an Italian when he plays the sport of football because he grew up with Serie A. Yet here's the Azzurri fanboy base, claiming he's an Italian and others like Motta aren't, when the fact is Giuseppe is exactly the same as him. :howler:

To whoever said that Rossi should play for the team that helped him become who he was...keep in mind he played more soccer in italy then in the u.s and it shows in how he plays.
That's not even true. He was only in Italy for four years with the Parma youth squad, then he went back on loan to Parma for a year. He played the sport in the US until he was 13.

Hell, if you want to make the argument that Rossi learned the most about the sport in Italy and hence why he should play for the Azzurri, I say that's fucking cock and balls. He probably learned more about the professional game at United, so he should play for England.

I don't know...in my opinion Motta and Rossi are two different cases. Rossi is born from an Italian family, while Motta is born from a Brazilian family. Motta has no ties to the homeland, where as Rossi does.

What, you think I'm not going to make fun of the guy and those other non-Italians telling everyone who's Italian and who's not?

I'm definitely going to have my say.
It's hard question, im half bosnian half swedish ,born and raised in Sweden, but to be honest it would be a hard choice for me to pick nationalteam ( if I was in that situation) Someway I feel more bosnian then swedish.

But if Rossi say he feels American then the only reason I can see that he picked Italia, was because they are a better team. You should choose with your heart IMO
