Nothing wrong with signing a 27/28 year old.

You need a decent number of experienced players if you are going to achieve something.
I'm sorry but experience is something Juve are in no shortage of at the moment. How many players 24 or younger actually have a future at Juve right now? Bonucci and Sorenson are the only two I can think of. We have all these players in their mid and late twenties(not to mention all the 30+) who should really be nearing or at the peaks of their abilities. When was the last time an experienced player really improved noticeably at the top level? Drogba.. maybe Klose? It's the exception to the rule. Bastos is a good player but not much better than Menez. His set pieces and distance shooting are much better than the latter but at the same time he's 4 years older.

For me, personally, it doesn't make sense to spend 20m~ on a 28 yr old, especially with this injury. May as well put 10m on top of that and go for Pastore/Sanchez. What if Bastos has a bad time here and doesn't perform? Juve will be sol because the resale value of a 29 year old Bastos coming off a bad season isn't going to be much.

Anyway, the point I'm making is that we have no young players in this team coupled with a serious lack of quality. Juve have made this same mistake quite a few times in recent years I just wish they'd learn by now. When is the last time we actually went for the young player? Never, and I don't mean primavera either. We were supposed to do this during and after Serie B yet it never happened. Now we're stuck with a bunch of garbage while quite a few of the younger players we let go at the time - in favor of more 'experienced' players - are actually doing well and would walk into this shambolic disgrace of a team.

TL;DR - Let not make the same dumb ass mistakes we've been making for the last 5 years.

Showdown is right, we have enough experienced players. Time to sign some young, talented players. If folks are saying we need more experience they must not know anything about our squad.

I know who DN was. I'm just saying that The Special One or his heir will coach us next season.

I know you know. I just though you were being a dick because I put a capital N when I abbreviated his name.

I don't get my hopes up anyway it'll probably just be another 1 year(or will he even make it that far) wonder.

    This is what he said:

"There are five big clubs interested in me: Juventus, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Inter Milan,' Neymar told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

'The proposal that I like most is that from Juventus. They have great worldwide appeal. Inter have prestige. Ronaldo played there and he is one of my idols, but I prefer Juventus.

'I say this without problems - I'd willingly wear the Bianconeri jersey."

With all the Italians in the team, Krasic should learn Italian much faster than they do over at the successful but not so Italian Inter.

yeah but id imagine its easier for all the south americans at inter that it is easier to learn Italian as there are similarities between spanish/portugese to Italian, more so than serbian/russian to Italian.

so far krasic' italian extends as far as DN shouting MILOOOOOOOOOOS MILOOOOOOOOOOS MILOOOOOOOOOOOS
