I can't understand people who don't want Bastos here.

Weird.

I can only assume it has to do with price?
I’m not enthusiastic about him coming because he plays best on the right. His best quality is cutting from the right and shoot.

Taking that away from him turns him into an average player. Nothing special.

Well said. Bastos is like an advanced version of Pepe. For 15M he could be more than okay for us since he is quite a solid player.

On Wikipedia (I know, I know) it says that Neymar doesn't want to stay in Brazil and would favour a move to Juventus. Has he ever said anything like that before?

Yeah we'll have to see how Bastos does after his knee gets cut open. He's also on the downward slope of his career so I really couldn't see us getting any more than 3 years out of him as he will be 28 in August.

I would take Menez over him in a heartbeat. Can play both sides and behind the striker, younger, suited to Serie A already and there can't be much of a difference in price especially since Menez seems to want out.

Nothing wrong with signing a 27/28 year old.

You need a decent number of experienced players if you are going to achieve something.

It has to do with options. Why are we always going for the average one?

Hazard and Dzsudzsák are two good examples for don't want him here. The last one should also be available for the same price as him. Menez and Elia are another two examples...

This is what he said:

"There are five big clubs interested in me: Juventus, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Inter Milan,' Neymar told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

'The proposal that I like most is that from Juventus. They have great worldwide appeal. Inter have prestige. Ronaldo played there and he is one of my idols, but I prefer Juventus.

'I say this without problems - I'd willingly wear the Bianconeri jersey."

Who would want to join us? I mean we are showing every sign of a historical top club that is declining. A sinking ship, I was amazed Suarez wanted to join Liverpool and Krasic wanted us badly, but such players are quite rare in general. At this point, we are a complete joke. Last year was our worst year, after making some investments we should've been better. In the end I saw the most devastating season I have ever seen in football history, seeing players like Motta, Pepe, Bonucci, Iaquinta and Traore playing in this jersey. Oh, and on top of that we are probably even worst than last year.

I cant think of top class players that would run to Turin now.
