So they've turned into bad players, even the best goalie of the last 20 years? Something doesn't really make sense in what you are saying here.
We know they can play, we have seen it either for years in some cases or over a number of games, I doubt the board tries to sign shit players, but maybe not the right players, right setup and right philosophy for this club. I don't think picking the stalwarts and/or best players at the club and selling them will improve us one bit. It'll give us money and even more spaces to fill. As we'll be a EL club again at best we won't be able to sign equal replacements, we'll descend further into mediocrity, and then maybe in 5 years time we can hope of thinking about the CL again.

Everyone needs coaching Suns, without a coach and tactics even the best will look like the worst. Well there are some exceptions but having a proper coach means a lot. I bet we would see a different defence (not the worst) if we bring in a better coach next season, to improve this area (not Spalletti

I just hope we get a pure goal scorer. Pazzini should have been the guy. I still laugh at some of comments from the "so called experts" here on this forum that said Pazzini was crap. He is one of the main reasons why Inter is now only 2 points behind AC Milan.
Oh and I heard Menez wants to leave Roma...he would be perfect on the left side. Krasic and Menez on the flanks would rule Serie A. Melo for Menez on a straight swap

Chiellini is the only good thing to take from our defence. Sure mistakes happen, and he's not 100% perfect but I consider him to be one of the best center backs in the world right now. He's always solid in the back line. However he needs backup. He can't hold the center and both flanks. I'll bring in the infamous quote "There's no I in team". He needs teammates, he can't do it all himself.
Menez would be a great addition. I'd welcome him with open arms. But I don't agree with you on Pazzini. Matri has played just as well for us, as Pazzini has been playing for Inter despite Inter having a stronger squad and alot of confidence right now.

Buffon and Chiellini shouldn't be sold. The only 2 players from our rubbish defensive unit that deserve a place in the team.
I do agree with Suns though, we lack quality throughout and it's definitely exacerbated by the fact we have poor players next to our few good players. We have no world-class players in our team so we can't keep living off the past and lie to ourselves.
ADP is just too old to do it consistently, Chiellini has been in steady decline for a while and Buffon looks a shadow of his former self. Granted, he just came back from a long lay off so he probably still needs some time. So out of our whole squad we have *potentially* 2 world class players.
Bastos... yeah he's an upgrade, but at this point who isn't? I think there are better options personally. He just had to have surgery and he's nearing the end of his career. If we get him for cheap I wouldn't care but we'll probably end up paying around 20m which would be a shitty deal.
