Yeah, like Dzeko :wallbang: We had 1000 pages about him and Marotta didn't do a single thing to get him...
First off I don't think he had a EU passport, second, do you think we had 32M to spend this January transfer window? We can't even pay for the team's plane tickets to travel around Italy.

I'm not sure that is true, Marotta at least said he wanted to sign him. It's when we get angry about not signing guys we don't even want that it makes me laugh.
That is not enough.

If he was serious about signing him, he could do something now to get him in June because that would be better for Wolfsburg who could keep Dzeko until summer and we would get him then. I don't say it is an easy job to do or something that is likely to happen,I am just saying that we had major plans about him and Marotta almost none.

If the non eu post was the only obstacle to getting Dzeko & if there were funds to getting him, then the two clubs could have signed an agreement for the following season. Just makes me think it was all bs.

Oh come on, if they agreed on a fee but couldn't sign the player due to non eu rules, they could easily secured his services for the next season. It's not the first time it's happened & many clubs have come to agreements like that.

Easily is the wrong word, because it would have taken something special from Marotta to convince Wolfsburg to do that knowing that Man City and their billions were interested in signing the Bosnian.
