Just the type of player we need upfront. Speedy, aggressive, unpredictable and can shoot too.
Shame we won't get him though.
I always been an admirer of his since his Porto days. His main strengths are that he's so complete and strong as a striker. As Aush said above, he's out of our price range, sadly.

Lyon bought him for €24M last season. They have a tendency to make profits from their sales. I doubt they let him go for anything less than €28M.

Roy Hodgson may be gone but Agger is understood to still be unhappy with his situation on Merseyside and is actively seeking a move away from the club. Juventus are believed to be the front-runners to sign the Danish international who could move this transfer window, or in the summer, but Tottenham and Arsenal are also interested parties. Agger joined the Reds from Brondby in 2006 after being signed by Rafa Benitez.*

Like to believe were in the lead need Def bad.

I will stop dreaming for new players and i can't wait till this mercato is over so we can al speculate about players who will not come. As long as we don't get rid of the players we want out, there will be no cash for us to buy new players so we make loan deals for idiotic figures...

Volpi, Palombo, Diana, Terlizzi, Falcone, Delvecchio, Castelazzi, Maggio, Quagliarella, Lucchini, Campagnaro and Gastaldello were also all good signings for Sampdoria. Not special, but then it is Sampdoria.

At Juve it's different, we need a different calibre.

Tuttosport rumours:
Linked to Konko,G.Rossi & Aager and Babel from Liverpool.

But the hell with it,don't believe we''ll make any good move...
Ans ofcurse we have to sell/get rid of some as well.
Grosso,Grygera,Legro,Sissoko,Amauri,Sali.

Grosso,Grygera and Amauri conracts expiring on June 2012 - need to be replaced.
ASAP.
Legro & Sali are finishing their deals this June.Great!
Sissoko June 2013 need to be replaced.

P.S Manninger also finishes his deal this summer.
Rinaudo also loan finishes.

Some big changes need to be done in the summer.
we can only hope and pray for a good players to be signed.
I am afraid that we can't(financially) buy so many players in the summer.

I agree, and I don't mind so much if we don't buy "so many" players as long as we buy quality players. from when we returned from Serie B we have been buying mediocre players for way too much money because all the so called "guru's" in charge thought that's what we needed. The season we're having now is the season we should have had when we were promoted. All we've done is prolong the pain and still achieved nothing.

If anyone thinks there's a quick fix other than a Man City style takeover then they're sorely mistaken. This will take time to see results and the hierarchy are clearly to blame. If we had re-built properly and made the hard decisions that were required when they screwed us and sent us to B I reckon we'd be reaping the rewards about now. I fear this will take longer than most people think.
