Whats so sweet about Cassano? He is a failure, he needs the team or club build to himself in order to function and he won't give you much more than two quality seasons.

I think he is a very good player who can deliver (and no, I don't care about his mental issues). I think he would be sweet alongside with some good finisher like Dzeko. The way you deny that is beyond me.

I don't deny his quality I just don't think bringing Cassano to Juve would be the right thing to do. If this squad is going to ''make'' it it will come from organisation, passion and a feeling a collective. Why waste that all with a troublemaker who needs some special treatment and can wrench those values in a few seconds.
We have to get a ST somehow this January. Benzema would be incredibly awesome, although nearly impossible to get at this point in time. A RB will help too.
I was not disputing that at all. But 12m~ every year, for three years to retain Aquilani, Pepe and Quag is not a bad deal at all. Better spending 32m~ as opposed to 62m~ on some soggy potato Brazilians over 3-4 years.
The only thing I wasn't sure about was the Quag deal. Whether it would be paid over the next 2 years or the next 3 years since they've already been paid 1/3 of it to secure the loan in the first place.
But it's obvious, isn't it? Of course you'll have to pay more for players from rival clubs, and because they are supposed "Italian internationals." Simple supply and demand.
