I don't think so, for starters there's no way the could start in Barcelona's midfield, or Chelsea's. They're also not a better pairing than Khedira and Alonso, they wouldn't start for Inter either, Melo would start in Arsenal imo but Aquilani wouldn't. While they might be in good form at the moment you just have to look at other team's midfields to notice that they're better.
Since Mourinho came in, Real Madrid has been very good defending, they don't concede lots of goals and have a really solid defense in Carvalho - Pepe - Ramos, Marcelo being the weak link there, but he's performing good.
Those teams are ahead of Juve in squad quality, and i do think Lyon has the better squad.

You're point about Aquilani is void, he already played for Pool and didn't start for them. He already played for Roma and didn't start for them either, you could make excuses for him all day long, but fact of the matter is, he was never a regular starter for any team yet, and he's 25 already.
As for Melo, you can make a case for him i guess, but he's so inconsistent i don't think he'd hold a starting spot for the likes of Chelsea and co. He definitely wouldn't find a place in Barcelona or Real though.
We don't have a world class attack thats for sure, but can you really objectively say you'd rather Juve's frontline over Arshavin and Chamakh?

In what department do you have better players than United? They have the better backline, you could make a case for Juve's central mids being better than United's, but i'd still say thats a close call. Players like Fletcher are quite underrated but plays a vital role for United.
I beg to differ about Lyon. I'd say they have a better attack, their midfield of Gonalons, Gourcuff and Pjanic is just as good as Melo, Marchisio and Aquilani. Their centerback pairing is not as good as Juventus i'll give you that.

Lyon certainly has a better squad than ours, that's for sure.Even some of the fringe players would get starting lineups in most Serie A teams.
@ Gabe, don't you think that Ancelotti has done wonders in terms of team chemistry & work ethic with Chelsea? I really thought they would be exposed with Carvalho leaving & added with all the midfield injuries. He really has made strides in keeping the team compact.

Carlo also got us to play the best football we've played in a long while, we may not have as much "talent" as his Milan side but he got us to play some really nice football, he also has been capable of nurture young players, i mean even if i don't rate Mikel that much it's quite obvious he has improved a lot since Carlo came in.
All in all i think he's one of the best things that could happen to us after Mourinho, though he plays more entertaining football than Jose.
To be honest i was quite wary when we signed him in the first place, but he really proved me wrong, he got the best out of the team and the players seem more united than ever. iI may sound cliché and everything but it seems that they're quite a compact group and get well with each other, you also can notice that they're enjoying their football. Just look at Anelka's comments whenever he speaks about Carlo.

I think the fact that he allows the players to play with freedom has a lot to do with the amount of goals being scored.Almost like school boys enjoying the game the way it's meant to be enjoyed.They also like mocking his accent & try to copy his voice.

Scolari was a disaster that's for sure so his opinions are pointless.As long as Manure don't win the EPL or any other trophy for that matter, i'm happy.
