He gets behind them a lot and likes to work with a unified group, i remember he backed up Anelka when the whole France WC fiasco occured, I remember an interview with Anelka where he said that Carlo made him love football again.
And yeah that's pretty much it, he gives them lots of freedom to do what they feel on the pitch, Malouda is one of the best & most consistent wingers on the EPL right now imo. He, Anelka and Drogba have developed a really nice chemistry too, specially the latter two. And to think Scolari said that they couldn't play together
Props to Carlo though, even if he gives the team a lot of freedom he also has kept the defense compact.
One thing i've noticed is that Petr is recovering his old form little by little, i've seen him make some "pre injury" saves lately.
