I agree Red that I like one winger beeing versatile and being able to go inside. I think Krasic is working on it and think this is something he can improve alot at but you can tell Del Neri wants him roaming because you will see him all over sometimes but not very effective quite yet. In serie A it could be a struggle with him and space but I think he could be used as a LB alot more against some lesser opposition to push that space behind our LW. They couldn't exploit his weekness to defend as much because we usually have numbers and they try to counterattack us which his pace would save him there.

Honestly not sure if I like him but he could be a good player but his asking price is soaring right now I think. People comparing him to Maicon so not worth the world class fee you would have to pay I would think.

Marotta open for business in January

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has revealed his intention to do business once the January transfer window opens.

There is speculation that he will try and sign another striker given Fabio Quagliarella is ineligible to play in the Europa League.

“We will do something in January,” Marotta said. “We'll speak about big investments again in June.

“We're on the lookout for good opportunities and I think that discrete deals can be done.

“In fact there are important players who for one reason or another could ask to leave their actual clubs.”

When asked if he is considering a bid for Catania striker Maxi Lopez, he said: “It's not that I have no desire to name names, but the potential opportunities today might not be such in January.

“We need to wait and see. Meanwhile we are concentrating on Salzburg. We need the three points to make up for the slip up we made against Lech Poznan.

“The Europa League is an important objective for us. We are aiming to win it even if the competition is rather complicated for various reasons, not least the fact you go on show always on Thursday with inevitable consequences for the League.”

Well, I was never really impressed with Afellay, until about 2 seasons ago. He matured and became a lot more consistent. He's getting more playing time in our NT aswell, even though that's due to a few injuries.

He's versatile aswell, you can put him nearly anywhere in midfield. He used to be an attacking mid, then dropped further back for PSV. He plays on a wing in a 4-2-3-1 for our NT. He can do it all. :p
