Bale is an excellent winger.

I just don't consider tonight's game to be a reason to alter one's opinion.
I am Rolfing at the moment looking on facebook and seeing all my friends wail 'why isn't he English?!' as though God has screwed them. :D

ive always held him in high regard ever since they made such a huge fuss about him when he was only 17 and last year after he broke into spurs starting 11 he started to show why he is highly regarded with some outstanding performances

after tonights game where he scored a hat trick against inter just made me really think we could use him as a left winger

as long as we sign someone like him, shaqiri, cazorla for the left wing and im happy

neither one of pepe or martinez could even come close to doing what he did today

Bale wouldn't be given nearly as much space to run in most Juve games, where the opposition is sitting deep and has lots of players back.

I'm not sure he is technically gifted enough to play in smaller spaces and still look a top class player.

I agree, Bale is a winger that's extremely useful for counter attacking football, as long as he has space he will hurt the other team badly.

However, given his age i do think he could better other aspects of his game with time, specially on how to act in small spaces.

No doubt there is potential for improvement.

I would merely suggest some of the claims that Bale is the greatest thing since sliced bread are going a bit far.

If the game was still alive when it happened, it would be understandable.

Scoring a hattrick when Inter aren't trying doesn't really impress me.

I agree.

Though it doesn't mean it doesn't impresses other users, as some posts have illustrated already.

I have the belief that some people here want to change so much of the current Juventus squad, that whenever a player (who in this case is admittedly very good) shows a decent performance they would jump in the bandwagon and get caught in the hype.

I do think Bale has what it takes to be a top player, but expecting hat tricks against teams like Inter or WC performances everytime is far fetched.

Also, I don't like 4-4-2 with two winger who pretty much always look to go on the outside. It's makes the 4-4-2 very flat and predictable.

I like at least one of the wide men to look to go inside and get into more central areas, like Nedved.
