Another example of a player with a shitty attitude is Ben Arfa. He can be an absolute jerk but when he's on fire, he's on fire.

He gave Lyon & Marseille a lot of grief but he delivered. I'm sure the Newcastle fans weren't going on & on about his attitude when he brought the goods to the table.

Its hardly a risk for Newcastle, he is only on loan.

He's played one game for them though?:p
No. He played against blackpool & everton where he scored the winning goal.

Obviously. The point i was making is that some are basing moodiness as a reason not to sign a player. My case in point was Benzema, not Neymar.

Ben Arfa was amazing at Lyon, he started bitching & moaning for a move to Marseille. When he got there, he was erratic at times but he did put in some excellent displays.

The pattern continued & unfortunately for him, he got injured. Serves him right for doing Deschamps in though.

Neymar hasn't proven himself in an established european league.

:agree:

I would happily sign a decent "moody" player on loan, but I do think that it is something to consider if going for a full transfer.

I'm not being smart or anything B but have you seen Neymar play?
I've seen some highlights. I haven't watched full matches to say a lot, that being said, from what i've heard he is class & he's a real gem but this club is not established.

We have way too many issues to consider going for a young Brazilian player & forking out 30m when we could easily purchase Dzeko.

If the club were in a winning state or a healthy financial situation where we could purchase many players of quality at one shot, then yes, i would want him here.

Agreed but it's not the be all & end all of the situation.

We signed Aquilani who is renowned for being injury prone & yet we took a gamble on him, loan or not.

It's a bit disappointing to see Juve not signing any good South American talent, when Lazio, Palermo sign players like Patore, Hernanes. Neymar is a fantastic talent. But, yeah his asking price is a bit high.

James

I think the chances of Juventus spending €30m+ on Neymar are incredibly slim. I think Lukaku is more realistic, and even then I don't see us going over €20m for him.

The situation for teams like Lazio and Palermo is completely different.

They can through these untested young guys into their team easily. But we are under to win every game, would Pastore have gotten a game when he first came to Italy in our team at that time? Would they cope with the pressure of having to go out and win each week?
