I don't disagree. Mentally weak player too, for some reason France's recent batch of players are like that, when the chips are down, they just fall apart. Gourcuff has a similar mentality.
I know, have you seen that Nasri? he's like a wet paper towell at times.

Gourcuff doesn't spend his spare time banging underage hookers, at least.
Fair point.

How's Gourcuff doing at Lyon?
Extremely mediocre up till now. Only a couple of decent games.

I know, have you seen that Nasri? he's like a wet paper towell at times.
Yes he is. Inconsistent and frustrating as fuck the past two seasons. But this season he's picking it up, hopefully he can keep it going, because consistency has always been his problem.

I was kidding Fred :p

He's my favourite Arsenal player. Sheer quality.
This season he has been sheer quality. IMO our best player.

His first two seasons, he was frustrating as fuck. I just hope he can keep it up this season, you can excuse me for being a little doubtful. On form, he is absolutely sublime though, i love his style.

We definitely need someone like Dzeko more than Benzema. We have Quag, Ale, hell even Martinez or Gio but our CF's are S H I T. We need a goalscorer.

Definitely would pick Dzeko if Neymar and Dzeko has the same price.. but we don't know how much their club ask for them.. If the 24m + 6m bonus for Neymar and 35-40m for Dzeko is true, which one will you choose.. the price difference is not a small amount though

Benzema is a big risk mind you. He's awesome when he's on form. If anyone saw last weeks France games, that was Lyon's Benzema there. But he's quite a moody player, and is prone to giving up easily in games when things aren't going right.
There are financial & player mentality risks here but then again, we spent how much to secure Martinez's signature?

Kinda weird that he wasn't really like that when at Lyon. IMO a change of scenery is precisely what he needs. He's living in a fast paced environment, earning more than probably 1/4 of his former team mates at Lyon.

We have seen players with attitude problems turning things around, best example would be Anelka.

As for the last part, it's not like our current batch of players fight till the end. How many times have we seen the midfield being bullied & leaving the defense to fend for themselves?

To be honest an on form Benzema is a better option for Juve's needs than Dzeko.
:agree:

Well i didn't say he's a better player, but more in sync with Juve's needs :p

Seriously, Benzema isn't as reliant on service as Dzeko is. Plus Benzema can come deep and move to the channels to help out with the build up play, he's very good at that, and he's very good at bringing others into play and linking up with midfielders.

Things is Dzeko sounds amazing from what i've heard but once he gets here, he will be heavily marked & isolated. There have been so many moments when our midfield has seemed lost & without ideas.
