oh, do you really think that aquilani will die of loneliness when he is alone in the medical department ?

bosingwa was out for a whole year because of a knee injury and i don't rate him any higher than motta to be honest
Bosingwa was a beast going forward during the Scolari/Hiddink season.. and he is not bad defensively. He is extra to requirements for Chelsea... why not?

Offensively and defensively he is miles ahead of motta. He benches Ivanovic when he is not injured.

Why would anyone who isn't Irish want O'Shea?

:D
Very Solid Defensively, Average going forward. Rarely gets injured and is very cheap. Can play as CB as well as Fullback on both sides. Sometimes he joins the midfield. He is experienced and reliable. In big games he performs well and rarely makes mistakes. Definitely better than Zeigler, termoulinas and the other full backs we are linked with.

i floated that idea a while back, general concunsus is we would have to change formation...and Del Neri ain't for turning
Changing formation is zero issue for Kaka, due can have free role as SS and rule. The only and main issue with Kaka is the guy is cronically injured. Was said a while back the kind of injuries he has now wont go away at all.

Wait, did really you just say that?

I at times defended O'shea for getting stick he doesnt deserve, is just a decent role/squad player, but man you really sound like his PR guy.

I think the best thing we can do if we are to change formation is to go to a 4-3-3, it would mean we can save on buying a SS, we just need to buy a LW (maybe Giovinco for not too much).

Would allow us to play Marchisio-Melo-Aquilani which has potential IMO. Get Dzeko or benz and we have a great attack.

Bosingwa is pretty good and i rate him, but he's not surplus to requirements (nor is Ivanovic), where do you get that stuff from?
On one side Chelsea has Zhirkov and Ashley Cole, on the other they have Ivanovic, Bosingwa and Ferriera.

When Bosingwa is back from injury, Ivanovic will be benched... he is definitely not bench material. If Ancelotti favors Ivanovic then Bosingwa will be benched who is also first team material. Ferriera is bench material.

One of Ivanovic or Bosingwa will be pissed soon, particularly when Ivanovic has proven himself to be very good. Taking the benched one away should not be very difficult. Anyone of those can easily get regular first team play in Juve, Milan, United, City, Pool and the likes.

Chelsea has Ferriera as back up anyway in addition to some rising youngsters.
