20 Million for Rossi?

Oh god no. I would consider 12-13 million for him.

Andy's right. Use it for the only true, imaginative, italian forward out there. Cassano. If Italian is the way they are looking to go.

Just Saying.

They are a small club and aren't really in a position to turn down considerable offers, especially if Rossi wants to go to Italy. It's ironic that they were given Mallorca's EL spot because earlier this year people were talking about possible administration for Villarreal if they couldn't get their finances under control, with their better players like Rossi, Diego Lopez, Santi Cazorla and Gonzalo being sold off.

Small club - disagreed. To get an idea of their finances, just look at how much they sold Godín for :D Rossi at €14-15m doesn't sound absurd, especially if he's going to cause unrest in the team (judging from his recent words he's desperate to leave).

Would be odd if Fiorentina got him in January when Jovetic returned.

Small in actual size, not current stature. A club who spent most of their history outside of the top divison, a 25,000 stadium in a city of 50,000 people, they are a miracle really, it's no surprise they are struggling to sustain it.

Right, of course then. The CL was the way that they were going to sustain their club pretty much, without it they'll just go back into the financially struggled circus that it La Liga.

You forgot the ć!

Anyways, pretending that didn't happen, let them do that then we can get Jojo. That would be greatness.

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Juventus have a plan to sign Karim Benzema from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Benzema is out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu, having already incurred the wrath of Jose Mourinho for looking as if he isn’t awake in time for training.

The 22-year-old struggled in his first season in Spain, scoring just nine goals, which contributed to him being left on the bench.

He also missed out on the World Cup in South Africa, but Laurent Blanc welcomed him back into the fold last week.

Benzema didn’t disappoint, scoring a wonderful goal against Bosnia, which left no one under any illusion as to his potential.

However, Mourinho is yet to be convinced and if things don’t change from now until January, Juventus feel they have a chance of luring him to Turin.

Beppe Marotta has previous in these sorts of deals. He managed to sign Antonio Cassano for Sampdoria when he was out of sorts at Real Madrid.

La Gazzetta understands that he will use the same negotiation techniques with Benzema, promising him regular first team football and the prospect of resurrecting his career.
