If we won't sign a quality forward (read Forlan or Fabiano) this month, then we can forget about top 4, yesterday made it very clear, yet again, that we aren't top 4 material, if Marotta and DN still feel this team is top 4 material, then they need new, much stronger, glasses.

No, but without a striker who scores goals, you might as well not even step on the pitch.
I understand what JCK means but it makes me think JCK is also saying Amauri isn't bad then; I believe we just need a creative foward which is rare these days; not a forward waiting for brilliant crosses that will never happen or one dimensional goal poachers.

I wonder how our transfer campaign will turn out if we don't secure CL football. I'm bracing myself for when we get linked with the likes of Aquafresca, Nocerino, Zaccardo etc.

What he meant was, even with a good forward, we won't score as much goals as we will concede.

A (good) one dimensional goal poacher doesn't need brilliant crosses, he needs a lot less.

Pretty much, our defense, all be it not the best is not horrible to the point of panic. Our forwards though is at the point of panic. We need a forward.
It might also be the lack of creativity towards our forwards, but a striker that hasn't scored in over a year, clearly doesn't deserver a place at Juve.
And a 37-year old can't keep doing it on his own.
