His father is the one in control from what I understand, and Romelu will listen to him. He wants his son to join a club where his career will keep on developing, and not be stunted because he won't get enough game time, and given the competition for a starting spot at Man City, I don't really see why he would allow him to go there?

Did a bit of reading about him, Belgians can correct me if I'm wrong on this.
You're never wrong, Sal!

Pedulla: “Juve offered 7M + Sissoko for Huntelaar, I can confirm”

“Developments soon. Juve are waiting for Schalke’s response”

EDIT: Seems old news here.

Schalke's response? How would they respond to such an offer, didnt they signed him from AC Milano for 15 million?

Let me question this deal.
1. if Sissoko goes we have no backup midfielders/Marchisio in the CM and Pepe on the LW
2. Huntelaar is doing good in Germany, why would his value be halfed?
3. If we are going to sign another forward, why wouldn't that be a SS since Toni is here for the Prima Punta, along with Amowri.

Doesn't make any sense that we will buy a striker and a poacher even less.

Do you think Sissoko’s value is 0.5M?

Maybe we want a Target Man for the future. Amauri may be sold.

1.) We don't have one yet. A new CM could be in the works. Bring back Ekdal/Marrone or bring Poli.
2.) Good question.
3.) Amauri might be leaving. (hopefully:xfinger: )

When Hunter after a year were he was rubbish he costed 15M, when playing less rubbish he'll cost less? Valuations are subjective, I understand.. but in no way is Sissoko valued at anything near 7/8M. 4-5 maybe, but the guy can't pass to save his life (altough his assist against Lazio was nice) and is limited as a midfielder. Schalke would only sell him if they make some profit out of it, not loss.

As much as I love Huntelaar, it seems impossible to sign him, Schalke aren't idiots and won't let him go, I haven't even heard Schalke was intrested in Momo, it was just the media linking him in all kind of deals. I still stand by my point that Marotta has more or less made his choice already regarding his striker and it's a battle between Gilardino and Pazzini. The latter offcourse being the better option due to his age.

and if we have that kind of actual cashmoney it seems hard to sign another CM if we sign Huntelaar. Ekdal could be cheap, but co-owning Poli could cost us 3 or 4 mills too.

his value may be what it is, idgaf the sooner he goes the better, I still think Schalke would be the one suffering from that deal therefor I would say as long as they aren't idiots nobody would accept such an offer
