Of course Neymar is, but people act like Dzeko is not a risk and it's given he'll come into the team and score 20+ goals.
Every player is a risk. Look what happened to Diego. People maybe act that way because he has already proven himself to be a scoring machine in a top league. Neymar is obviously a talented kid, but I feel we're not the right club for him right now.

The problem with Dzeko if he comes and does not fulfil the promise he has set in the Bundesliga then the rest of Europe will think that he will not succeed in any other league baring Germany, the way you have to look at it, were currently seeing a Dzeko who is at the top of his game, probably maxed out potentially and would struggle to get any better, whereas with Neymar even if he does not do it at Juventus all the promise and talent is there for another team to take the gamble on him.

I think we'd probably earn more money back off Neymar than Dzeko.

That's a bit overly dramatic. He has a slight attitude problem perhaps, but it's not like Balotelli's or Zlatan's. Cassano has a far more severe problem with regards to that yet admitting this problem is on the wane, at least on this forum.

The price tag is high. But that's what the market is like now. If we could negotiate a deal closer to 20M it could turn out to be a steal.

Risk/Reward looks better with Neymar. Dzeko has proven more, but there's no guarantee he will succeed in Italy. There is always risk no matter what you're dealing with.
I don't really think it is. I'm not 100% on it but I'm pretty sure Zlatan and Balotelli never bitched and moaned their coach into unemployment solely because they weren't played for a game. I can just tell he's a little cunt by the way he carries himself. The hype has already gotten to his head. He's not as dramatic as Cassano but he does have a terrible attitude.

20m would be awesome and I'd likely buy him for that amount but it won't happen, not with all the competition from big spenders. The only way we could get him so cheaply would be if he refused a move to anywhere else so fingers crossed.

In terms of risk/reward. You're right Dzeko isn't proven in Italy but Neymar isn't proven anywhere yet so you can conclude that although Dzeko is a risk, he's much less of a risk.

I won't complain if we get Neymar, but I'll be praying he delivers on his potential and knows his place.

Hmmm, does Huntelaar ring a bell? He's been sold to two clubs for solid amount after he "flopped" at Real.

Juventus linked with Bocchetti move

Juventus are weighing up a move for Rubin Kazan defender Salvatore Bocchetti, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 24-year-old full-back only moved to Russia in the summer, completing an unexpected €11m transfer from Genoa.

Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Juventus would like to take Bocchetti on a three-month emergency loan and have already made inquiries to that effect.

Bocchetti is said to be happy in Russia, although Cesare Prandelli didn't include him in Italy's latest squad for this evening's friendly with Romania.

Juventus believe that this could be a factor in Bocchetti wanting to leave Rubin as he was regularly picked under Prandelli's predecessor Marcello Lippi.

Luciano Spalletti's Zenit St. Petersburg have won the Russian Premier League, which officially concludes in a couple of weeks' time, so transfer speculation is naturally rife.
