I'm wondering if Conte will look to convince Giovinco to come back next year. Mabye we could look like this;

Buffon
Beck Bonucci Chiellini Bastos
Pirlo Melo
Krasic Aguero Giovinco
Matri

If not Aguero then mabye Quagliarella will fill in that slot. I don't know I didn't see a lot of the start of the year but people seem to think of him as being the kind of guy to play in there.

Not necessarily my ideal team but it looks reasonable to me. Any thoughts?

if all these reports are correct we could easily go for a 4-3-1-2
with Bastos as a left back and Krasic behind the strikers, Pirlo in midfield with Melo and Marchisio
maybe not ideal but this seems more likely then a 4-4-2
Krasic is not an AMF. And his short passing is average IMO, better to sign Pastore for that IMO:tup:

Cassani seems like a realistic option. Conte probably wants to restore the Juve spirit and Cassani if nothing else knows Juve from his youth days. He is a solid player and would be a good option, I think better then Beck because of serie A experience.
Yep, the glorious Serie A experience. You aren't a real player until you've played there.

Bastos at left-back doesn't even work for Brazil. How exactly would it work for us?

Quagliarella "filling that slot" means basically 4-2-4 under that scenario. He's not going to check back to the midfield and orchestrate attacks. I think you've been fooled by a lot of people around here who don't know what they're talking about.

That's not impossible.

It would be more of a 4-4-2 looking like this;

Buffon
Beck Bonucci Chiellini Bastos
Krasic Pirlo Melo Giovinco
Aguero Matri

But turning into the formation I put before when attacking.

So is Quagliarella positionally speaking much more of an outright centre forward? I seem to have an opinion of him as playing as a second striker. If that is totally false then I have indeed been fooled.

If Conte is the coach, what makes you think he'll change his perspective when it comes to formations?
I have a hard time believing he would play two central midfielders and one of them being Pirlo, that's all
I would love 4-3-3 but somehow I doubt we will play that
I'm only looking at what could be a likely formation

Aguero is not realistic, I think that a Tevez-->Real, Aguero--->City could happen this year. Hope I am wrong, but I doubt it. We will try for Pastore IMO.
