strong player that puts in teamwork, with a great engine, that can score goals.

its called balance
Complete B.S. that's the same excuse delneri and marotta used at the start of the season, "it's about team players" "not individuals" ........ then what happened? oh yeah our "great engine" and "teamwork" players can't even string two passes together without passing the ball sideways, and put 10 players behind the ball and get outplayed by minnows like Bari, Chievo, etc at home:lol:

you read it wrong

teamwork and defensive work are secondary characteristics, he primary is a winger

if we just want teamwork and defensive quality, we would leave marchisio there, who is better then both in that regard.

we need a winger, but he needs to have mentality and workrate

Buffon
Beck-Bonucci-Chiellini-Cissokho
Krasic-Pirlo-Melo-Bastos
Matri-Aguero

4 new players: 2 of them are instant game changes and the other 2 will add quality. Affordable given a nice budget plus player sales.

Or:

Buffon
Beck-Bonucci-Chiellini-De Ceglie
Pirlo-Hamsik-Melo
Krasic-Matri-Aguero

Pastore can make the team with Pirlo in it work, because he does some work defensively.

Krasic-DM-Pirlo-Bastos

Pastore

Striker

stands half a chance of not being overrun.

Krasic -DM-Pirlo-Bastos

Striker-Striker

would leave the centre of the pitch very open and give opponents great chances to counter attack and get clear runs at the defence.
All of those scenarios are garbage.

If we want to use Pirlo effectively, we should use the 4-3-3. There's no sense in having Pastore have to worry about coming back to defend, as that's just going to ruin his effectiveness. Plus Pirlo likes to roam, so at times we'll only have the one DM in position to win the ball back.

Just go with the 4-3-3, it's better.

So I guess

Ziegler maybe
RB.. any? :shifty:
Pirlo
Bastos
Aguero 30%, Pastore 70%

I'm kinda worried we aren't talking about fullbacks, or I hope we're making moves in the shadows.
Bold: Cassani/Licht/Beck.

I think we will/are indeed make/ing a move in the shadows. For me it always was between a coach surprise, Mascherano or Ribery. The coach option seems that won't happen. Ribery with Bastos here won't happen too and Mascherano would be always an hard catch.

It's so wrong to start a market without a coach. The on-loan players... ok. The free agent's options... hmm, I can accept that, but we should still get a coach first (or talk with him at least). Deals like Bastos, Beck, Rolando, Fernando and even Pastore or Aguero? Senseless.
