I am expecting the worst, and hoping for the best. I've put up with this cycle of shit for 5 years now; I'm sure another 5 years isn't a big ask. If only we had focused on quality rather than quantity since our promotion back to Serie A, then we'd be back as a member of the Elite Eight, where we rightfully belong!

Isla -
Anyone know what makes him so special - what are his strengths? In FM, Isla looks like a defensive-minded Pepe - versatile and fighter-spirit, but nothing else!?

Sanchez -
How do you rate ADP and Sanchez forming our attack next season - APD feeding Sanchez with quick through balls - taking advantage of Sanchez speed and acceleration which is next to none IMO.
Also, do you see Sanchez play the alone striker- or on the left opposite to Krasic - in a 4-3-3, or do you only see him as a second striker in a 4-4-2?

Rossi / Neymay / Aguero / Hazard
Same question as with Sanchez - can anyone play an alone striker? IMO, I see all of them mostly as a "new ADP" - being a deep lying forward and playmaker and NOT an alone striker -
which player will fit best in a 4-3-3 and/or 4-4-2?
(Anyone know how Barca use Villa - to me, he can be somewhat compared to Sanchez / Neymar / Aguero / Hazard, and he plays an alone striker - right?)

He's a great RB. He has everything needed to play for us, or many other top teams. That guy is all over the pitch, aggressive and very dynamic. His passes are ok while he makes many forward runs with nice crosses. IMO the best option for that position.

How about marking, tackling, dribbling and technique? can you compare him with another RB/LB? Also, is it true that his natural position is DM?

His aggressive style makes him do a job in defense. Fullbacks should be great in defense and if they are, they better be damn amazing in attack. His technique looks pretty good for a fullback.

I don't know if it is but everything I've seen him he was playing as a RB

One last question - are you sure he is not too aggressive? - We don´t need another Zebina ;-)

Clichy and Nasri to sign new contracts.

Sport mediaset: Mazzarri in favorite for Juve job.

Santini: Delneri will be back in Atalanta, Buffon will leave in summer. Coach job will be between Guidolin and Conte. Only Matri and Quagliarella will be bought from the loans.

One of the best performances for Isla this season was in Torino against us, where he played right winger. He was just outstanding, but of course he regularly plays as a right back, and he is very solid there too. His versatility can be very useful, he can play also on the left flank, and in the middle...

I have to say, I`d take Isla over VDWiel/Bosingwa/Richards/Johnson/everyotherrightbackwevebeenlinkedto any day, maybe we dont have chances to compete for Sanchez, but I believe we`re in a decent position to capture Isla, and I hope we can take it.

This is good because it means that we will only take a 2.5m loss for the Pepe loan as the rest were for free though it means we will have to spend big money on a replacement for Aquialni.

:moan:

If any of that is the case, kiss another season goodbye.

What is it with Italy and the constant circle jerk of mediocre managers?
