Robben slams Europa
BAYERN MUNICH star Arjen Robben has dismissed the Europa League as a pointless competition.
The German giants are currently fourth in the Bundesliga, one place short of the Champions League qualification places.
Bayern went out of this season's tournament on Tuesday night on the away goals rule after drawing 3-3 with Inter Milan on aggregate.
But should they miss out on a place in the Champions League next season, winger Robben says he has no interest in the alternative.
The Dutchman said: "I cannot imagine playing in the Europa League.
"That is the worst that can happen. I think it is better if you don't play in it at all.
"Even winning the Europa League would not mean anything for me.
"That is not the title you want to win and it is not something I want."
