If these Rolando rumours have any substance, especially if we keep Del Neri, I would think it's to move Chiellini to LB. I mean I doubt we're gonna be playing with a three man defence, and I don't think we're gonna bench bonucci. Think about it Del Neri has tried Chiello there several times. I think it's a ludicrous proposition but you never know with this management

Agreed. We have more pressing areas to address, so spending money on a cb does point towards a cb being sold. Chiellini would be the one to go since he would command a massive transfer fee considering the precedents which have been set over the past few years with less established players at that position.

Unless it's another Barzagli like bargain, Sorensen will be our 4th cb next season.

Chiello isn't going anywhere.

And I'm not sure about the above, actually. Depends what they have in mind for Sorensen; if he becomes our 4th choice CB, then we need to purchase 2 RB's. ZG's time is up. It's gotta be.

Right now, I think he'll be our 2nd choice RB next year - he's done well there. We're not even really sure what he can offer us at CB yet. I guess time will tell.

I think we need another CB, but I can't imagine we'd be targeting Rolando. If we're prioritizing another costly CB over the FB slots, somebody needs a good slap!
