However, if we're planning to spend more than what Melo cost(s) us or what we would get from his sale, then there's really no use to go ahead. Not even if it's for a better player. Simply because the CM (or DM if you like) position is the least of our worries right now.
Well yes, I didn't expand, although I don't see us spending big in this area. A Mascherano loan to buy would be good for this mercato, but no €25m deal. We have to speculate for CL at some point, it gives you your money back on such deals and potential to buy. Then there is the new stadium also.

Really don't want to buy Aquilani. As good as Mascherano would be what would be better? Mascherano and the same Aquilani we've seen this year? Or a properly good WC passing CM next to Melo? In my opinion, the latter.
As far as buying Spalletti goes, I think he can play winning football but we'd need a really good squad which we're two full-backs, a CM, a LW and two strikers away from. DD is my first choice.

Can we have auto censorship/ghosting (meaning no one can see em, but mods) on Andy's posts every time he mentions the words Rossi and italy in same sentence? :p
I know you are a fan of Rossi, why don't you defend him so hard from the injustice that Andy speaks of him, the way others speak of injustice on barca? Why don't you call Andy a troll and many other names when he expresses his opinion about Rossi?

Speculating for CL? The bod is way ahead of you here :D

Inler is a better player than Melo.
Inler is absolutely great. Surprising really that he hasn't been snapped up by a bigger club yet.

Let´s assume we buy one of Sanchez, Neymar, Aguero, Rossi, Hazard or Pastore, depending on coach/tactic that person would play either SS or AML. Regardless we would need a ST or alone striker up front; who would/should that be?

Lets be honest, even though Matri and or Quag probably would be that player next season, the should´nt be the season after that because, lets face it, there are not good enough, so who should that player be?

I am thinking Benzema and Dzeko would be a perfect choise, but both seems impossible at the moment.

If we keep playing 4-4-2, could the two strikers be somewhat both SS like Udinese are playing at the moment with Di Natale and Sanchez, or have I misunderstood how Udinese fields?

Also, could Sanchez be the only striker if we start playing 4-2-3-1-ish, with Krasic to the right and e.c. Hazard on the left?

Look forward to hearing from you guys..
