Where do clubs like Barca and Madrid get all the money they splash on transfers.. no random oil rich baron owns either team yet they both drop serious cash. Like Barca so far have bought Villa and Mata for a total of 60 million euro right? And they are possibly going to bid for Cesc ot Torres.. wtf
Madrid are bankrolled by the banks of Spain.
Barcelona..no idea, but i think they sell so many merchandise and tickets, cuz Camp Nou hold 95000, so 95000 x 20 = That's roughly 1.5-1.9 Million a game.
And Barcelona haven't bought Mata.

Oh i thought they bought him already. it must have just been a story linking him. Barca and madrid have alot of debt so i dont think they can keep spending like this.

maybe we will get lucky and they will go into administration and we can sign up their players haha

They get most of their money for stadiums like Ash said, but they also get a lot of :money: from the deals from their TV rights

If I am not mistaken Real Madrid signed a deal for six years where they will get around 1 billion euros

Coentrao is amazing, but no one would pay his price except Madrid and City.

Him on the left side would be a dream. Energetic, Fast, good technique and crosses.

Since this is the Wish list and General Discussion Thread, here are my wishes:

1) A new LB who doesn't cost a fortune.

2) Iaquinta and Pepe seeing ample time on the bench and not being featured in the starting 11.

3) Diego stays (or used in a swap for Aguero, and only Aguero)

4) Dzeko and Krasic arrive.

5) Disposing of Melo and Gio only if necessary, and in meaningless swap deals.

6) Tiago, Sali, Grygera, Grosso, and DC out!
