Thanks for the tips Master Guru
Personally, I'm not a fan of blogs and I'm not looking for any kind of credit.
I'm searching the internet for pointers in scout reports right now and I'll begin writting them when pre-season begins. I liked the graphic information on Krasic's movements I saw in his thread and I'll strive to include all the statistic information I can about the players. I'll be sending them to you if you're interested.
I'm just sorry I didn't think of this last year

Do you have any website suggestion for me to collect some pointers man?

Cheers for the help :hi:

Javi Garcia, the Real Madrid fringe player/youth product/DM, who pretty much sucked ass everytime I saw him in La liga, is now worth 20m? :p
Don't worry, his price is inflated. He plays for Benfica and every young player in Benfica has a ridiculous price tag.

You saw him this year with regular play time?

Also: "I agree that 20M is too much. But Benfica won't settle for less I'm afraid. The Portuguese League has become an expensive market."

Notice how I said La Liga? I seen Javi Garcia for U-19 and 21 spain and the league appearances he has had, extremely average and limited player has been my main impression since the get go. Good if its going well for him in Portugal, but dont watch that league, and either way, I very much doubt he is worth 20m. Especially as a DM.

Yes I did. I only asked if you saw him this year. The price tag has already been explained.

No I havent, though wouldnt mind watching the Portuguese leagues big 3's games (when they are facing eachother, rest isnt interesting), but either way Javi Garcia wouldnt be one of the reasons exactly.

Its hard to say, I havent seen them in quite a while or besides few Euro cup games here or there. But several are prolly, at the least as squad players.

For Juve interest would be defensive players, and in Benfica's case they have a good pair in David Luiz and Coentrao. For Porto Bruno Alves, and their attacking pair Falcao and Hulk would prolly be good enough. Sporting harder to say, their squad seems bit newer to the typical ones I'm used to. But prolly Joao Moutinho.

 You got most of the league's star players

David Luiz is young yet very solid CB. I believe he's going to Man City. It's a shame really. Money talks..
Coentrao is playing at LB for 2-3 months. I'd like to see him play a full season and mature before going abroad.
Bruno Alves is a top class CB whose time here is over. He's won everything and has been asking for a change in scenery for a year now. I think he would be awesome for us! Don't mistake him for Andrade. This guy is a rock and is never injured.
Falcao is class, but I wouldn't bet on him just yet. One more year to confirm what he has done so far both in domestical and european competition. I think he'll develop into an hell of a striker if he keeps performing consistently. I've been delighted with what I saw from him in the matches I attended. He fights for every ball and never gives up. The potential is there for him to become one of the top strikers, just hope he keeps his mind in the right place.
Hulk has the dribbling skills and the powerful shot. Too bad he lacks a brain. He's not ready for a big team. He's annoying to watch as he doesn't pass the ball to anyone and stays down after losing it. Primadona all over it.. If he gets his stuff together, maybe he can become worthy of Juve.
Moutinho is a strange case. Showed a lot of potential and his performances commanding Sporting's midfield were consistent. This year it wasn't the case. I believe he must move to another league, as his development as really stalled in Portugal. All the transfer talk about him moving to Everton also messed him up. Actually, I think he's too physically weak for the Premier League. A move to Spain or Italy might help him get back to his level.

Don't know websites that could help you. You can read the Italian forums, wikipedia, uefa profiles...

    what about Meireles and Veloso?

Already googled some interesting reports to use as a base for mine. Cheers :pint:

    what about Meireles and Veloso?
Meireles is something of a Tiago clone. And we all know how that went. I think he will shine in England/Spain and flop in Italy.
Veloso is an intriguing one. Very inconsistent, but when on top of his game, he's a much better version of Tiago/Meireles. He has a lot of potential, but he drifted into the Fashion business and lost some focus. This year he showed glimpses of genius and I hope he keeps his mind in the right place. He has it all. Good technique, great passing and shooting, holds the midfield well, vision and good positioning, .. The problem with him, as in almost every single Portuguese player, is in the attitude. He needs to prove himself to have matured enough to be worthy of a top team.

    Carlo Nesti Juve formation:

(4-4-2): Storari – Motta, Bonucci, Chiellini, ? (not Ziegler) – Martinez, Melo or Sissoko, Marchisio, Pepe – Iaquinta, Dzeko.

He says no Krasic because Juve only have enough $$$ to sign Dzeko.
