We won't extend Caceres loan or sign him. Is this means we can sign 2 non-EU players from outside Italy? The rule about sign 1+1 non EU-players abroad which the first is independent and the latter is allowed when we sell or release one of non-EU player to outside Italy.. So this means we can sign Krasic then still sign Dzeko or Aguero, right? or the worst scenario is James Rodriguez

Marotta: 'Diego doesn't fit at Juve'

Sunday 6 June, 2010
Juventus are ready to sell Diego because “he does not fit into Gigi Del Neri’s 4-4-2,” confirmed director general Beppe Marotta.
There had been question marks over the Brazilian after a poor debut season in Serie A, especially as the trequartista has struggled to find his tactical place.

“There are offers for Diego,” Marotta told Tuttosport. “Del Neri’s tactical requirements have the priority and I don’t think the Brazilian fits into the 4-4-2.

“Faced with an impressive offer, I believe we could sell him. Watch out for some of the other names in the papers, as there could be a few surprises coming to Juve.

“However, Gianluigi Buffon and Alessandro Del Piero are not for sale. They are symbols of the club and essential reference points for the younger players.”

The Bianconeri must go through the preliminary round to reach the Europa League after only finishing in seventh place.

“When you are at Juventus, it is your duty to never settle,” insisted Marotta. “We will build a Scudetto-winning side, or at least will try to.

“I consider Inter to be a step above the rest, even without Jose Mourinho. They are the number one club in Europe and got there step by step, building the foundations over the years. It proved to be a winning formula.”

:'( Diego... I can't believe he said that.. He can fit in a fucking 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1 !
for some reason this just brings back memories of ranieri & his rigid 4-4-2 with the occasional trident.

I don't understand how it is only the fans who see 4-2-3-1 as the best solution to fit this juve side. It would have been much easier to get the few players we needed to complete the squad for this formation that to have to completely revamp the squad to fit 4-4-2

just looking at our CMs alone, one of poulsen, melo & momo needs to go & we need to get a more creative CM in that mix

If we don't extend Caceres deal, we can sign 2 non-EU players outside Italy. Krasic and Dzeko fits the script while Aguero has Spanish passport, i'm 99% convinced in that. So basically, we can have all of them. If we decide to go for 3rd non-EU player, we can make a deal with some other club to sign him and then sell him to us after a year or two.
Should be like that, someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

We fucking better! I didn't expect 'big' signings, but I'd be really disappointed if we didn't get a proper replacement.

Aguero or nothing instead of Diego. Diego is a creative player, signing somebody like Dzeko or god forbid, Pazzini to replace him would be a nightmare. We need a creative player out there next to a goalscorer.

Its sort of like they are replacing Diego with Pepe especially after Marotta stated Diego doesn't fit into a 4-4-2 formation, the formation we are very likely to use
Diego, if he is sold, would be replaced with a forward.

And if you want to say Diego is being replaced with a winger, why do you say it is Pepe who is replacing him and not Krasic?
