Del Neri hasnt even met the players yet, it is so early for the club to be talking to players etc...i can understand getting in early, setting a standard for what players are worth, targeting your needs before others start poaching and preventing transfers....but how do we go out and buy several players without del neri trying the likes of melo, sissoko, giovinco in the midfield of a 4-4-2?
and getting cassani, bonucci, criscito, palombo, vargas, pepe, gilardino/pazzani for a team who finished 7th, isnt in the CL...isnt that bad if the priority next season is to finish top 4. Sad as it is, juve wont reclaim top spot over one summer.

The best formation..I'd say its not only one forward, as many clubs who play 4-2-3-1 use SS or Forwards as Wingers.. or a SS under the Striker.. Something like this would rock !

Just in the third one put someone instead of Pazzo. Gilardino, or someone.
As for our real formation, I think we're going to sell/give Giovinco and place Diego on the flank.

Diego is a player thats more suited playing in the centre. Diego said we would win the Scudetto and get a Champions League space aswell. If we use Diego out wide it will be one huge mistake. Also then we need to sign a support Striker.
Giovinco should be used on the left, sign Krasic for the right and have Diego playing the Cassano role.

Maybe, but maybe not. World Class player can change their positions and fit in perfectly. Expecting him to shine might be too much but there's nothing wrong in putting him there.
I do understand your point. I would like to see him on the wing though...maybe it would be just great for us.
Del Neri likes 4-4-2 and 4-3-3. Having Marchisio, Melo and Momo I highly doubt Del Neri thinks of using him as a CM again. And he even said he wouldn't formation just because of one player (Diego, and it was directed towards 4-2-3-1). It's why I think he could use him on the wing but he'd play much more offensive and that 4-4-2 could turn into 4-3-3 easily which would suit him more, where he can cut inside and do his job.
