That's brilliant defending from Puyol.
they lost that match because of that wasted opportunity + ronaldo's one in the 1st half...so see? a bit of sense..of calmness because puyol was down 5 seconds earlier to execute the sliding tackle...and it could've been 0-1 for real not the other way around. That's exactly what higuain is missing..calmness

I don't believe in this "big match choker" thing, and to think that even Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic were considered as. :D

He scored 27 goals for Real this season and all you gotta say is that he missed a few chances? I've seen much worse misses even from WC poachers.

edit: though I agree Aguero > Higuain

Oh, i saw almost all of them with my brother being a real fan and all. but i wasn't impressed i mean getafe? really? i'm sure he scores a lot vs the getafe's almeria's etc etc. but for example in big matches he seems too nervous/inexperienced and when he's put in front of a decent organized defense he doesn't perform well that's why he couldn't score against barcelona or even lyon. mind you, he scored 2 goals in UCL.

i never said he's not a good player but he still lacks. Besides he is selfish A LOT. he's like a rough diamond that oughts to be polished. I would indeed love to have him at Juve.

Aguero on the other hand plays more for the team, and even tho it was europa league and against a team such like fulham he proved he can still perform in an european final and play for the team.
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here, because I was under the impression that you were making the argument that Agüero shows flashes of brilliance which Higuaín isn't capable of.

I'll take the point that in big matches he doesn't necessarily shine as much, but he's been pretty much carrying that team a lot of the time since the start of the 08/09 season. There are a lot of players who are considered great but don't turn up at the big stage.

Real Madrid lost because Barça were the better team that day, it would be incredibly harsh to pin the blame on Higuaín and Ronaldo because of two incidents.

And for any footballer to turn like that and shoot is a great skill, few would even be successful with the turn. The fact that Puyol reached that with the lunge shows how great the block was because I don't see any way in which Higuaín could have taken that shot sooner.

Sure he can, i was just stating that in big matches he seems lost or uncomfortable whereas in aguero's case he doesn't. also higuain has more of a striker than aguero while the latter has more of a "supporter" or team player.

i'm just stating that it's not the same to have a flash of brilliance against getafe and have one against liverpool.

They're both great and i think with time higuain is gonna be a beast (if he isn't by now)

then again opinions are like assholes :D
