Robi - no.

Bonucci at right back - no.
Robinho - Extremely talented and skillful, but a shitty attitude has got in the way of his career thus far, causing trouble at every club he has played at in the past few seasons. Once again, he is on the fringes of his squad and most likely on the way out for a fraction of his real value.

Who does that remind you of? (hint: he was signed by Marotta on loan and tamed by Del Neri).

I am indifferent to his signing btw. I can't decide whether it would be a good move or not.

Vargas will be next Amauri - descent player for megamoney on top of his form what never be repeated after transfer.
Ludicrous to write him off as Amauri's next spawn so soon. Vargas is actually proven in European competition, has a wickedly good cross and left foot in general. Amauri, as a striker, was always going to get judged on goals scored and to that date he hadn't scored enough in any season to remotely justify the price tag.

I do agree about overspending on Vargas though. 17,5m should be our max, or we should include some crappier players to lower it.

He's 29 we need younger players not old ones. We have enough of them already.
I like him, but agree. The guy in my avatar for instance would be awesome :eyebrows:

We should go for 2 of Krasic, Vargas, and Robinho. If we sell Diego, take em all.
If we sell Diego, which is never happening, there is one guy for me.

The anti Fiorentina brigade are going to think I'm fawning over their players now

I'm pretty sure it would be a bad move, the only part of me that thinks something good could from it is his friendship with Diego. Cassano may have been tamed but taming Robinho isn't a problem, kicking him up the ass and getting him motivated is. If only Robinho had the same spirit as Cassano, you'd be talking about one of the 5 best in the world.

Diego should be kept and used as a trequartista behind either Suarez(Ajax) or Pazzini type of player. Then we need to invest on 2 wingers (Vargas, Krasic, Hazard or Rakitic), and I didn't include Di maria because he is out of our reach (~40 millions will be half of our budget, and it wouldn't be realistic to spend it like that when the team has plenty of holes to fill. We need two backs (criscito, Motta, Caceres, sissoko) and a CB Kjaer.

even 15 millions would still be a steal for a young CB that I think he is already top10 cb in the world. I think Kjaer would be our most important signing, and I would even be happy if we get him for 20 million or a little bit more. We just need him and he is exactly what Chiellini need.
