Because i think; They can be compatible(Because they; ex team members ) , And Marco Marin's Price very proper...(Alexis Sanchez expensive than Marin )

and i think ; Marin is very good Talently player, He is Young, Fast good passer :agree:

Mesut özil 20 M + Marin 10 M + Pazzini 15 M = 45 M €

We have 80 M + Trash players = 100 M €

100 M - 45 M = 55 M €

55 M € enough for defence upgrade :)
emm, I've always thought Ozil is an interesting player but never had the chance to watch Marko Marin before. Thanks for the clip, mate.

But honestly, I think there are better options out there. I'm fine with bringing Ozil, though, if the price is right.

There are many great italian players but it is not smart to just buy italian players. Like I would much rather get Adriano who is out of contract this summer then pay like 20 million for Pazzini.
Have you seen the squad that Marrotta built for Sampdoria? There is a few foreign players. He obviously prefers signing Italian players.

I think it makes no difference though as long as you dont over pay and get players who will play well in the team. Samp also did not have the funds we have so we are able to look outside to bring in higher level talent. Most players on that samp team are not good enough.. Just Pazzini and Cassano

------------Adriano--------

Giovinco-----Diego------Di Maria/Silva

---------Marchisio----Melo-----------

Criscito----Chiellini----Kjaer------Cassani

-----------------Buffon-------------

And as to whether Diego was a flop or not, here's a pretty insightful post about that...

I think it's more about signing low-risk players who are proven in the league and the environment. Combined with a few that are capable of making a difference (such as Cassano and Pazzini), the strategy can be successful.

Getting a few of the former is good as long as we also get one or two of the latter.

Juve make offer for Vargas Friday 21 May, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus have reportedly made an offer to sign Fiorentina's Peruvian wing-back Juan Manuel Vargas.

The Bianconeri are in the process of overhauling their squad after one of the worst seasons on record.

Changes have already been made at board level and it's now time for Juventus to put their new transfer strategy into practice.

The club's new director general Beppe Marotta has apparently identified Vargas as the centrepiece of that strategy given the Peru international's ability to play at full-back or further forward.

Juventus are keen to return to playing a 4-4-2 next season and have made signing wide players a priority this summer.

Marotta is said to have offered Fiorentina €20m for the 26-year-old who has also been linked with Real Madrid.

Fiorentina are expected to fund their own summer spending spree with the sale of one of their stars and Vargas is arguably their most lucrative asset.

Perfect signing. Just exactly what we need, and will fit right in 4-4-2 formation

... in a way similar to the Marotta-Real Madrid-Cassano deal.

If he can pull it off again, he'll be off on the right foot.
If he gets us Benzema then I'll forgive him if he does his favourite thing, signing players from the mighty Sampdoria :) After all, he can't let go.
